We've been members for 3 years, after living in places all over Georgia and Florida, having been to more parishes than I can count. This parish is our home, we felt like it right away. A beautiful parish family which we are blessed to be a part of. I'm an officer in the Knights of Columbus, a Cathecist, Cursillista, and my wife and I help staff our annual lenten retreat.
🙏🏾 who knew when I put a "Saint Michael protect us" plate on the front of my car and flew south I'd land at THE Saint Michael of Woodstock ❤️ 😍 💖 The LORD... that's who knew 🤗
Fabulous food pantry! They run a tight ship with friendly volunteers that serve customers with dignity by using a customer-choice model of service. Patrons are allowed to "shop" the pantry like a store and choose their own food. This increases satisfaction and prevents waste. All pantries should be this way.
This is my home parish. It's gorgeous, it's easy to make friends and find community. All three priests are a delight and the deacons are lovely and the staff are precious. And most importantly we have Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament! What more could you want?
The church is beautiful, but the priests (particularly Father Larry) are the opposite. Growing up here, there have been many clear signs of blatant racism. How can you preach God’s word while also treating others with such disrespect and prejudice? How he’s still the head priest of this church is beyond me. I will say, he does an amazing job of running people away from this church (especially if their first language isn’t English). I’m sure that’s exactly what Jesus wanted, right?
