Woodhaven Academy

My family has been truly blessed with finding the best daycare. My oldest daughter started at 3 years old and went through After School Care and my youngest started at 9 weeks old and is currently in their summer camp program. Not once have I ever had to worry if my girls were being provided for, encouraged, loved and taught a fantastic curriculum. The owner has always ensured that as parents, we are satisfied with the care provided. The director and assistant director have loved us like family and texted me photos when I was missing the baby after returning from maternity leave. There aren’t many treasures like Woodhaven and I am so proud that my girls got a great start to their education by attending this wonderful daycare.

We love Woodhaven and can’t sing their praises enough! They truly love on our kids and it’s authentic! They teach my almost 4 year old so much and my 16 month old love on her so well. They truly care and the ratios are the best! Lower than other local schools! Highly recommend!

We transitioned our daughter at age 3 to Sunbrook Academy at Trickum because my husband and I had changed jobs making the previous daycare inconvenient due to location. She has now been there for almost 2 years and I can tell you that we have never had an issue. The teachers and staff are all warm and friendly. They actively communicate with us and provide plenty of opportunities for us to be engaged with her classroom activities. My daughter loves her teachers and is always happily participating in enriching activities when I pick her up. I'm confident she is well-prepared for kindergarten later this year because of Sunbrook at Trickum. I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to friends and family.

I have two little ones at Woodhaven. The owner, Johnny, and directors, Ivonne and Joy, have been wonderful. I have had phone calls and texts about my kids since day one. The communication there is fantastic. My kids go in excited everyday and leave just as happy. They come home with a paper telling me about there day. I love reading it and asking my 3 year old about the specifics. For those of you with little ones, you know that asking a generic "how was your days" sometimes only gets you "good". Thanks to their papers I get lots of details from him. Each time I have seen Mr. Johnny he is making sure his place is as wonderful as it can be, from keeping the plants watered in the front to working on things around the building. Someone willing to do the dirty work instead of handing off that job shows that he takes great pride in Woodhaven Academy and wants it to be the best. It shows. All of the staff is so friendly. Their drop off/pick up system is very fast and convenient. I am very glad I chose them to be my kids child care.

I've been a client since 2016. I sent my first daughter there and no my youngest is enrolled. My kids have had a great experience here and I feel good about the things the help kids learn from toilet training, to creative art, and learning to play nice in the sandbox with other kids. Johnny, Ivonne, and Joy have been great and I wouldn't take my kids anywhere else!
