Compass Academy At Smyrna

Our daughter started daycare here when she turned one. We loved every minute of our Compass experience. They loved our daughter well and took great care of her while we worked. Every morning our daughter walked into school confidently and never looked back. The staff is so kind, the teachers are very invested, the owner Jeena is extremely present and available whenever you need her. The teaching staff is consistent. There was very little turnover with staff while we were there. They are great at communication through the app and very transparent with daily updates. Our childcare needs changed, but we are hoping to be back with our other children in the future.

I can't even begin to describe how much we loved Compass Academy. Our daughter started right at four months old and we felt so comfortable knowing she was safe and in such great care. The teachers and staff were phenomenal and love the children so deeply. When we moved we were so sad to leave but are so appreciative of Compass Academy and everything they did for our little girl.

I can’t express how much we love Compass! We enrolled our son when he was 8 months old and we truly believe this place was a Godsend! Some of the things we love the most: Security- There are two doors at the entrance and your child is brought to the outside door and handed to you at your arrival so you never have to worry about strangers entering the building. Cleanliness- The place always looks and smells clean and I appreciate that there isn’t carpet in the infant room. Kind teachers- The teachers are so kind and attentive. They sent daily photos and videos of my child and I would hear them encouraging him. I also love how accessible the teachers are. It’s easy to send a quick note or ask a question and get a fast response through the app. Outside time- We love how much time the kids spend outside, even getting to eat their lunches outside when the weather permits. Their play area is AMAZING and definitely one of their best features. The list goes on and on! We recently moved our son to a daycare closer to our home and while our son is enjoying his time there, we miss all the nuances that made Compass truly special from other schools. Thank you, Ms. Jeena and staff for your amazing care of our son. We miss you all so much! Keep up the great work!

Both of our kids went to Compass for daycare and preschool and both loved it. My youngest recently graduated and started kindergarten at our public school this past week. She went into kindergarten so confidently, but has said several times that she misses preschool. The things she misses most are how much more she got to play outside, eating outside, and all of the fun experiments and learning activities Compass provides. What a testament to the environment that has been created there! As a parent, Jeena is the dream daycare director. I cannot put into words how much we appreciate her diligence to charging a fair price while also providing an enriching learning environment.

Our daughter attended Compass for 3 years and we could not have asked for a better environment to care for her during a very formative time. Her teachers were wonderful and she formed excellent bonds with her classmates. We will miss being able to send her there each morning.
