Our kid is happy here and so are we! We went to another local daycare for about a year before we started having issues and my son started crying at drop-offs. I knew that could be normal but before a staffing change, he was happy to go to this other school. This happened for 2-3 months while we toured other facilities and decided to pull him after a couple of other concerning events. International Academia of Smyrna was recommended to us by a friend and I am so grateful for that recommendation! Our kid is so happy here that now he sometimes forgets to say ‘bye’ at drop-offs! He loves all his teachers and so do we. The director is very supportive and encouraging and that means so much as a first time parent learning to navigate child care! My kid has been there a few months now and is already speaking some Spanish and Spanish nursery rhymes have been a hit at home. If you are on the fence about moving your kid here, this is your sign to do it!
Our son has been attending this school for the last 2 years. He is now in the 3 year old class and thriving! He (and we) loves all of the teachers. They are so wonderful with the kids. We, as parents, love the fact that he is in a nurturing and caring environment while also learning Spanish! It has created an opportunity for us to learn more Spanish so we can understand our son and sing and play with him as he grows. The school does a great job of creating community events to bring families into the school for celebrations. It truly feels like one big family. We are so thankful we found IA of Smyrna. They are a blessing and a gift to our babies.
We are so happy with this school, we been taking our child here for 4 months already. We did a tour when i was pregnant (very early in pregnancy about 15 weeks along) made a deposit the same night of the tour. The school is small and the director is busy so if you are trying to check out the school just need to be a little patient and follow up. I kept open communication with Amanda once our baby was born and the estimate date of start. She made sure to give me a call once the date was getting close to make sure i knew what we needed to bring and expectations for the Infant class. We are so happy with all the teachers and our child is truly so smiley when dropping and picking up! Looking forward for the next few years with them!
If you are looking for a loving, caring, trusting daycare look no further! I can not say enough. Every teacher is so loving! My 5 year old has been there since she was a newborn as well as my 2 year old who loves her teachers so much she calls them my name every morning excited to go see them. The entire experience from newborn to now graduate to kindergarten has been nothing but true blessing for our house. I was looking for a daycare where i would drop my kids and have no doubt they were in the best hands possible and I found it. ❤️
My children have been at this center since they were babies. The teachers are caring, and the class sizes are small. It is truly an immersive environment I've been impressed with how well my daughter can speak Spanish (we are not a Spanish speaking family). The kids are really responsive to their teachers and really seem to enjoy their interactions at school and have fun. My daughter is well prepared for kindergarten as she goes through the Pre-K program -- writing, math, sight words. Highly recommend.
