What Parents Say
PSC Learning Center #2 receives overwhelmingly positive feedback from parents, with most praising the caring, experienced staff, strong teacher retention, and focus on child development and learning. Parents consistently report their children are happy and thriving at the center, though one negative experience with phone enrollment and concerns about one staff member's demeanor were noted.
I visited many schools today and this one was different. Special, felt like a family vibe. Ms. Solomon was ver attentive, friendly as she multitasks a virtual meeting- making me feel important. I had a lot of questions and she answered each one. I knew she was knowledgeable about kids/childcare as well as education. I love how long the staff has been there. It shows this school treats their employees right. If the employees are happy, so will the kids be.
Absolutely loved this center! My oldest did pre-k there and he’s super shy but his teachers really helped him come out of his shell & really set the tone for school in general. My youngest was really happy at daycare as well.
We recently moved to Georgia last summer and searched for a Pre-K/daycare option for our 5 and 3 year old. We’ve been so happy with our experience this year! Most importantly our kids enjoy school and their teachers care for them. We highly recommend!
My son attends the Pre-K and his teacher, Miss WIlliams is the best! Her assistant, Miss Rozier is also great! Miss Williams is about teaching the children without using harsh/cold re-direction and I love that. My son is learning a lot! Most of the caregivers also seem to be nice as well. There is one older after school provider that seems to be somewhat harsh with the children and I intend to speak with the afternoon director regarding that. Speaking of directors, the morning director seems to not be very motivated to be at the daycare. She appears to have a less than positive attitude and not very warm and welcoming like the afternoon director. When I come in the afternoons, the director is always speaking and smiling. I think if I had come to enroll my son during the morning director's shift, I probably would not have enrolled him at PSC.
My son has been at PSC since was 1 years old, he is now 3.5, he has another year in the 3’s room because of his birthday, but then off to the GA funded Pre-K program which we are really excited about! He has learned a great deal while being in the 2 and 3’s rooms thanks to Mrs. Thomas in the 2’s room and Mrs. Holloway in the 3’s room. He comes home and tells me things I never knew he knew. Mrs. Thomas is just the sweetest, most loving teacher you could ask for, all the kids love her and hopefully the school holds on tight to her. Mrs. Holloway is “old school” as she puts it, so she is a little rougher than some people are used to, but the kids listen to her and respect her. He gets a lot of one on one attention, all the staff know him (and know his silly quarks) and he enjoys his friends in his class and his teachers. This is an older daycare so it is not as fancy as some of the newer ones, but it is not about the “look” that matters it is about the people and if your child is safe and learning. We have been happy with PSC.
