Blue Bird Kids Academy

Both of my children have attended Blue Bird since they were 3 months old. Our oldest went through every classroom including the summer program and our youngest is still enrolled. We love this daycare and the teachers. Our kids are excited to go everyday and come home happy! The owners are very accommodating and easy to work with and communication between teachers, parents and owners is great. If we had to choose again we would choose Blue Bird in a heartbeat.

If I could give them no stars I would cause this is the Worst place to have ever brought my child too . Two incidents occurred on their watch to my baby girl and the sad part is that I feel like every daycare facility should have cameras to where you can see what happened and not just word-of-mouth because nowadays a lot of kids are getting abused from daycare. My daughter was always dirty. I didn’t feel like she was getting the proper care she needed, but I’m so thankful for this new Daycare tht she will be goin to cause they have cameras and let you see your child all day.

My kids have been with BBKA since 2017. I’ve been to a few other daycares in town due to distance and after school pick up options, and they were basically babysitting or less. when I had a new baby and started over, I basically begged Keri to open a slot for me again because I loved it so much. They have curriculum even as little as the baby room - doing animal identification/sounds, alphabet, numbers, colors. Those first few years in school, my kiddos did so well because of the structure and attention they received at BBKA. Furthermore, many of the same employees are still there which speaks volumes about the way they treat their staff it really feels like a family. I love that the teachers really seem to know the kids and treat them like their own. The owners, directions and other leaders in their organization take even small hiccups very seriously, prioritizing safety and well-being for the kiddos and the staff. I would recommend BBKA in a heart beat to anyone. Plus - they’re way reasonably priced considering the attention your kids are getting. Good luck getting that anywhere else in town.

This daycare is a great place for babies all the way to just before they enter kindergarten- they even have an afterschool care program for selected schools in the NBISD area. My daughter has gone since she was 6 weeks old and is now almost 2 1/2 years old. She’s changed classes and all of her teachers have been so great with her transitioning from one class to the next. They also provide meals, which I find helpful being that I have multiple children in different schools. Those teachers truly do care for the kids, and I feel great to have found a place for my girl til she’s off to the next adventure starting elementary school. Thanks BBKA for all you do

We are more than happy with the child care performance at Blue Bird, we feel safe with our decision to keep our son at the academy from the time they pick him up from school to the time we pick him up from daycare, we are always amazed at how much he enjoys being there and being a part of something as special as Blue Bird Kids Academy
