We are absolutely thrilled with our experience at Through a Child Eye. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt a sense of warmth, professionalism, and genuine care that instantly put us at ease. Choosing a daycare is one of the most important decisions a parent can make, and we couldn’t be happier with the decision we made. The staff is truly exceptional—nurturing, attentive, and clearly passionate about early childhood development. Our child is excited to go every day and comes home happy. The daily routines are thoughtfully planned, balancing structured learning with creative play, social development, and plenty of love. Communication is another standout feature. We receive regular updates, pictures, and progress reports that make us feel connected and informed. Any questions or concerns we've had have always been handled with care and prompt attention. The environment itself is clean, safe, and full of engaging activities. From educational toys and outdoor play spaces to seasonal crafts and fun learning themes, it’s clear that every detail is designed with the children’s growth and joy in mind. We can’t thank all the staff here enough for the peace of mind they give us and the positive impact they’ve had on our child. This place is more than a daycare—it’s a second home, and the people there feel like family. Highly, highly recommended!

Through A Child’s Eyes is a very safe and caring place for children. The teachers are amazing and nice. Overall, I would recommend them to anyone in need of safe and reliable childcare. My daughter looks forward to going every day and is even running up to the door some mornings!

Tace is an amazing daycare. The staff is friendly and very informative on my daughters progress daily. I had my daughter at Tace for 2 1/2 years. I did try other daycares around town and I felt like they we’re just babysitting her instead of teaching her things that would help her transition to school. Once my wife and I made the transition to Tace we knew we made the right decision. Best daycare in New Braunfels! Curriculum was on point! If you are looking to send you child to a secure dependable daycare that will teach your child life skills and help them grow. This is the place for you.

CAREFUL PAYING A DEPOSIT. IT DOESN'T GUARANTEE ANYTHING AND THEY WILL GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND. The details of my experience are as follows: I paid a deposit to secure a daycare spot for my child in June of 2023. At the time of payment, I was informed that I would have a guaranteed spot by October 2023. Relying on this assurance, I refrained from seeking alternative daycare options. However, when I followed up with "Through a Child's Eyes" in October as agreed, I was informed by the director that the deposit did not guarantee a spot, which contradicted the information provided earlier. Despite expressing my frustration and disappointment with this discrepancy, I was merely assured that my interest would be noted and I would have a spot in January/Feb of 2024. Subsequently, I patiently waited until January, then February, and now March, without receiving any communication or confirmation of a spot. Upon my recent inquiry, March of 2024, I was met with further assurances from different staff members, ultimately leading to an offer for a spot in now June of 2024. Given the lack of transparency and consistency in "Through a Child's Eyes" communication, I no longer have faith in their practices and administration. I feel scammed out of my money and there is no way I would trust they would be honest to me about the care that they provide when they cannot be honest about a simple spot or how their waitlist is handles. As a result, I requested a refund of my deposit to seek alternative arrangements for my child's care. Unfortunately, my request for a refund has been denied, despite the fact that I fulfilled my part of the agreement by paying the deposit in good faith. This situation has left me feeling misled and financially burdened by a daycare that has failed to fulfill its promises. My hope is to have my deposit returned promptly and that I can move on & delete this review.

Absolutely love this day care! The interaction between the providers and children are always warm and positive. The learning opportunities are developmentally appropriate and interactive. The love they show your kids is out of this world!
