The elderly try to run the cardio and weight room and the machines are always broken. The elderly get mad if you use a machine that they want and most of the time the gym is empty on weekends and after 6pm. The machines are very old and outdated. I have tried to lap swim but kids take over the pool a majority of the time and families do not understand what lap swimming means.
Front desk staff was so amazing and helpful (Summer*)!!! I’ve had 2 sessions with Randy Quinones to start, and he was very attentive to my needs and goals. I appreciated the personal connection as well as his guidance easing into weights. Thanks for being awesome you guys 💜
This specific YMCA location has been nothing but a headache! It’s ridiculous how no one you talk to has accurate information about anything. Upper management needs to enforce on going training or spend more time making sure the individuals they are putting on the frontlines to represent their name actually knows something!
I would give the YMCA Hiltop Childcare negative stars if possible. Absolutely DO NOT use them for any sort of summer program or after school. The list is endless of the issues I have dealt with sending my children here. I’m also not the only parent who has experienced this and pulled their children out of the programs.
We visited this particular location seeking information centered around what programs YMCA has to offer. Summer and DeBorah the receptionists were very welcoming, warm, inviting, and knowledgeable. Both individuals answered all of our questions and made themselves available at a later time if we had additional questions or concerns. They made us feel at home.
