Before I started my review, I read the other ones. First, I am so sorry that people have had bad experiences here: Second, it was a long time ago and since then I KNOW it has changed. It has to be the literal BEST daycare in Ohio!! They are so caring and thoughtful. They take the absolute best care of my grandson. My daughter and I are so thankful for this place and the people working here. I have no doubts that my grandson is being taken care of. They send daily pictures of him and he is always smiling and having so much fun. They are always on it if he hurts himself (also, they send pictures of the area he hurt with follow up progress pictures) They have fun water days, show and share, and bring a book days! He loves all those! If you're looking for a great daycare, look no further because Batavia Heights is the BEST!!!! Love, a very thankful Memaw
My now 3 year old daughter had been with this daycare for about a year and a half. We just recently pulled her from the day care to move her to a closer one. However, no day care can compare to this one. My daughter has problems with her speech and we give credit to her teacher Hannah for working with her. My daughter loves this daycare and I feel like she was safe and cared for at this facility. Thus day care isn't just a play based facility they really work with their education! Once again I credit this day care for helping her with her speech, learning to count to 10, sing songs and so much more! Update: We moved our daughter back to this daycare and the staff were so welcoming and happy to have her back. So glad she is loved here.
My daughter had previously left another facility just around the corner from Batavia Heights who had humiliated her and broke her little spirit. Since she has started with Batavia Heights she is so much happier. She is excited to go to school and see her friends. She is always saying that she had a great day. While I wish the staff would look in her bag for items more often, they are all nice and work well with all the kiddos. You walk in and kids are playing and laughing and just an overall happy atmosphere. The admins are amazing. They are constantly working with the kids and out of the office and doing what needs to be done which is an amazing change for us. I love the fact that the entire facility knows my daughter and greet her everyday whether or not they directly work with her. My baby girl is so much happier now and I am so glad they had an available spot for her.
I came here for a tour that was forgotten about and my 4 year old daughter has learning disabilities and she was upset that she couldn’t stay to play so she had a tantrum and without even touring after I waited over 20 minutes, the director looked at my child and said to me from what I already have seen this isn’t going to work out. My heart was broken for my child because she judged her for the way she behaved without even knowing her. If your child has any type of disabilities I wouldn’t even bother putting your child here.
Absolutely a game changer for us. Our son & daughter have been so well taken care of by the teachers at BHCC. The facility is fun, friendly, clean and welcoming. I also have so much art work to hang on my fridge. The hours are great and communication the office secretary, director and teachers give to us has been outstanding. My kids seem to really love it here and the mix of activities that are thoughtfully put together.
