The Peninsula Academy was an amazing preschool experience for our granddaughter, who is now 8 years old and still has friends from her time there! She loved going each day, and we always felt confident she was in a safe, clean, and nurturing environment. Melissa and the staff truly have a heart for children, and it shows in the care and attention they give. Our granddaughter was greeted by name every morning and sent off with happy goodbyes—they truly know and care about each child. We also appreciated the fun themes and celebrations throughout the year, as well as the strong safety protocols. The transition to the app was great—it kept us connected with updates and photos. We will always treasure our time there and highly recommend this wonderful preschool in Yorktown!
This is an amazing preschool! The caregivers and management are top notch! They truly care for & love each child under this roof. My children are older now, but if my kids were 2-5, they would go here! I visit TPA twice a week to teach soccer classes to students. It’s easy to see how well these children are taken care of and the quality of the curriculum.
Our son has been attending TPA for 2 years now and it has been the best decision we have ever made for the beginning of his academic career. We love the teachers and how our child is not just a face in the crowd but they really know him and us as well! The kind and respectful atmosphere that we feel when we walk through those doors each day makes it easier for us as parents to leave our child there knowing he is in the best hands possible. Our child has thrived so much since he started here and has become a more well rounded individual. My son has been at The Peninsula Academy for two and half years. My husband and I love it! Every one of his teachers have truly loved him and helped him to be the best that he can be. Their curriculum is awesome, but more importantly, my son knows that he is loved and feels like TPA is part of our family. He has developed a strong self-confidence and is very social (along with knowing a lot academically). I brag about TPA to all of my friends and highly recommend it. My son is an awesome child. When people ask what our secret is, we always say that his preschool is a huge part of why he behaves the way he does. If you want a well rounded, intelligent, sympathetic child, then have him/her go to TPA!!

Moreover, the security and safety of the children is job one each and every day. Moreover, they also understand the special needs of military families and make every effort to ensure they are a welcomed part of the program. I still read the personal letter given to my daughter by Melissa at graduation and it will forever bring me to tears of joy. I love this school and wish I could go back in time and attend!
