We have been part of the Goddard School family since 2023 and have enjoyed our experience over the last three years! Our children enjoy attending each day and are excited to learn. We are thankful for the teachers who show they really care about our children and their educational experience. The owner Nancy is very open with communication and plans events throughout the year with her management team to include parents which we love.
We have been a part of Goddard since 2023, and now both of our kids attend daycare here. The staff have always been pleasant to work with, reliable (they always have staffing), and the teachers genuinely care about our kids, which is the most important thing. Every single teacher we have had has been very nice and easy to work with. Our oldest sometimes does not want to leave at the end of the day, haha! We are lucky to be able to send our kids here.
Our children have attended The Goddard School in Mechanicsburg since 2018, and it has been such an important part of our family’s life. In August 2025, we made the difficult decision to leave so we could keep our kids together at the same school. Unfortunately, that experience did not work out for our youngest daughter, and after she was suspended from that daycare (new environment-regression issue), we returned in November 2025 without hesitation. Coming back reminded us exactly why we loved this school so much. Our daughter has been absolutely thriving since returning, thanks to the incredible care, love, and attention she receives from her preschool teacher, Miss Delaney. She has created a nurturing, supportive environment where our daughter feels safe, confident, and excited to learn. We are so grateful for the dedication and compassion shown by the entire team, from the directors to every teacher . This school truly cares about its children and families, and we are thankful to be back.
Our son has thrived at Goddard School of Mechanicsburg. Every teacher he has had in the 2 years since he’s been there has been great, but we especially want to highlight his teachers in the Get Set room - Miss Kaitlyn and Miss Addie. He has learned so much in this room and has really opened up. We are very impressed in the education and care he has received.
It’s really hard leaving your kiddo to be dropped off and cared for and partially raised by someone else. It takes a TON of trust. The Goddard of Mechanicsburg makes it easy. The level of care, support, education, and patience these teachers and this staff exhibit is exemplary. The kindness, and love they show towards our kiddo and ourselves is unmatched in the area. If you’re struggling with the idea of taking your kids to daycare and which one to choose, I’ll make it ridiculously easy for you, choose this one. The communication and updates throughout the day make me feel more involved in my child’s care and part of their day. Thank you, Goddard of Mechanicsburg!
