Mechanicsburg Learning Center III

My child was there when he was 2 and we moved and he came back to the school when he started kindergarten. Everything was going great, except he for some reason started regressing with his potty training. Well instead of handling it professionally I get told the morning I try to drop him off ( day before Thanksgiving break) that yesterday was his last day apparently. Apparently the director has left me a voicemail the night prior( never received a voicemail from her) did from the too workers there that he had an accident and needed picked up and that was it. Director calls me this morning after i try and drop him off on my way to work and told yesterday was his last day 🤷‍♀️ pretty unprofessional in my eyes. No communication. Miss dream the "manager" would pull me aside and say please don't pull him from the program im working with him and have a system. Also that she apologized for the text her co worker had sent me, because i was willing to pull him and put him where it clearly will suite him better. And then turns around and tells the director something completely different. That i had actually put my hand in her face and walked away. ( I would never! That is so disrespectful) no one there tried to say a word to me last night. I walked in and signed my kid out and went home. Instead getting accused of that craziness and now have to try and explain to and upset 6 year old that hes not aloud to go there anymore. So if you dont want to deal with anything like this I highly recommend finding else where! Place is a JOKE! I get told to call the director and get the run around trying to brush me off until monday. I will gladly find somewhere thats more structured and more attentive to my child's need that they clearly couldn't handle like they had claimed too! So now we're left to find a new daycare over a holiday break. Again very unprofessional in my eyes. And there response was were sorry were done have a great Thanksgiving 👍 🙃👌

Whatever you do, do not send your child to this daycare. It is completely unorganized and inconsiderate of working parents. Over the summer, they announced the summer program hours only two weeks before it began—via text—and those hours were completely different from the school year schedule. Now, as of 27 AUG 25, they’ve sent another last-minute text announcing they are cancelling after-school care. We are only one week into the school year, and starting 09 SEP 25, there will be no after-school care. (See attached pictures for proof.) I cannot make this up. The entire experience has been awful. On top of the disorganization, the turnover rate of staff is unbelievable. Save yourself the stress and stay far away from MLC.

Fantastic experience with this facility! I knew several of the staff from when my daughter (now 15) was in their care at the previous location. Very trusting team, reliable, friendly, and kind. Very reasonable price in comparison to other facilities.

Dedicated to students and their success in education. Loving and nurturing teachers who I have grown to adore. We are beyond grateful for the care they give our children.

high staffing turnover. the staff that are caring, compassionate and empathetic to kids needs seem to be the ones that leave, replaced with individuals who do not understand what an IEP is, do not want to be bothered with programming or communicate readily with parents to solve a problem. i am saddened by how good employees are valued, based on observation only...i can only imagine how the good employees feel (prior to leaving).
