I truly want to express my gratitude to the center, the staff, and especially the new center director. Since the management change, the atmosphere feels brighter and more welcoming. She has taken the time to connect with me and my family personally, and that effort has made me feel genuinely safe, supported, and confident in the care my child is receiving
2 stars because most of the staff do genuinely care about their job and are trying their best, it’s the few that DONT care. In the toddler room it is almost always a health hazard. Those seats are caked in old food and the carpet is always dirts with food or ripped up paper. Looking at the cameras during the day, the room is a wreck and the teachers are just sitting there on their phones, not stopping the kids from climbing tables or standing on chairs to grab things off of counters. This center used to be one of the good ones, it’s sad to see. Maybe things will turn around with this new director, but my wife and I are not sticking around to find out.
I have been pleased with my experience here from a parent perspective and for my children. I’m seeing improvements with the new center director as well.
Do not bring your children to this center! Management gave me less than a 24 hour notice telling me they were unenrolling my daughter from their center. When I bought this up to the director she came back with nothing but attitude and excuses! My daughter was here for about 6 months and they did nothing but cause problems, they gave my daughter food she was allergic to after having a Dr note and me packing her lunch that was never given to her. They at one point also put on her winter jacket in class and made member sweat to have a fever of 101.3! My daughter who is 3 has even come home with bruises on her body, whether they were from other kids and the teachers weren’t paying attention or from the teachers being rough themselves! This daycare is unprofessional and they simply do not care about the safety and well being of the children. I’ve reported this daycare to the licensing company in hopes this doesn’t happen to another family!
Under new management, UGro is thriving. The new director and assistant director have a hands on approach and their professionalism and kindness has not gone unnoticed. The center has a fresh new feel and the teachers are wonderful. My daughter absolutely loves her teacher and looks forward to coming to school every week!
