My family loves the Goddard school! Our little one likes going to school, and we have the comfort of knowing that she is looked after well and is learning. The staff is super friendly, kind, approachable, and helpful. The school also puts on the cutest events for holidays and special occasions which we really enjoy. They foster a spirit of community and communicate well with families. We love being a part of the Goddard Mechanicsville family!
The Goddard School of Mechanicsville is a welcoming and well-organized school with a caring and professional team. The environment feels safe, positive, and focused on children’s growth and development. As an event and entertainment company, Let’s Party would be happy to collaborate in the future and bring fun and engaging activities to their wonderful community.
The Goddard School has been our 2nd family! We appreciate all of the staff who have been nothing but kind, helpful and thoughtful. We appreciate the familiar faces and how they hold their staff accountable if needed. They are always looking to be accommodating. They also find ways to provide extra activities of enrichment before and after school! We love our Goddard Family! Honestly, I secretly don't want to leave a review because I selfishly want to keep them to ourselves in case we have a another baby and need room there lol The only thing I was not crazy about was the requirement to have kids rest for 2 hours when they got older. My understanding is that it’s a state thing and out of their control but it’s hard on our kids that have sleep issues already! It’s also expensive, but not terribly unreasonable for what they offer so hard to say.
My daughter is always happy to see her teachers at drop off and is happy when I arrive to pick up. I feel confident that they truly care about her well being. The communication is excellent and everyone is welcoming and friendly. I would definitely recommend the Goddard School of Mechanicsville for working parents!
We couldn’t be happier with our experience at The Goddard School! From the very first day, the staff and director made us feel welcome and confident that our child was in great hands. Every teacher and caregiver is incredibly warm, attentive, and clearly passionate about early childhood development. They take the time to know each child personally and communicate regularly with parents about milestones, routines, and any concerns. One of the things that immediately stood out to us was the emphasis on safety. The facility is clean, well-organized, and secure, with thoughtful protocols in place for drop-off, pick-up, and visitor management. It’s clear that children’s well-being is the top priority here. The curriculum is also exceptional. It’s a wonderful balance of structured learning and play-based activities that foster creativity, problem-solving, and social skills. Our child has grown so much—emotionally, socially, and developmentally —since joining The Goddard School. We’re also grateful for the consistent communication. Whether it’s through daily reports, newsletters, or photos, we always feel informed and connected to what our child is experiencing each day. The Goddard School is more than just a daycare—it’s a nurturing, inspiring community that gives our child the best possible start. We wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent looking for a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for their little one!
