Our children have gone to TLC for years. I cannot put into words how incredible the staff has been! The facility is so warm and inviting. As working parents, who rely on daycare daily, you want to make sure that your kids are safe, happy, and learning. TLC goes above and beyond in all areas. A recent example is when we experienced inclement weather and schools closed for 2 weeks. When schools finally reopened, we had a last minute surprise school closure on the first day back! The staff immediately took action to make sure they had teachers available so our kids could be there that day, preventing us from having to completely shift our days around. I consider the TLC staff as a part of our family, the kids love it there, and I know their experiences at TLC will have a huge positive impact on them as they grow! Thank you TLC!!!
The teachers and directors at TLC are the best! This daycare/preschool has been such a positive place for my children. The directors and teachers create such a nurturing and encouraging environment. I’m consistently impressed by the skills my children are developing and how helpful the staff are. We feel lucky to have found a place that feels both safe and enriching.

I coached SoccerShots at The Learning Connection in Mechanicsville and the entire staff is incredible. They all made me feel so welcomed and taken care of — it’s obvious that the employees truly care about the kids there. They handle the kids, staff, parents, (and myself) with the utmost respect and love. I’m not a parent but I’d feel very safe if my kids were enrolled at this preschool. Thank you for everything TLC!
