What Parents Say
Toddler University receives highly polarized reviews. Positive reviews praise communication, staff friendliness, activities, and competitive pricing. However, multiple negative reviews raise serious concerns about child safety, staff inattentiveness, inadequate supervision ratios, unprofessional management responses to incidents, and facility conditions.
The communication with the staff here is amazing! My child loves coming here & the teachers she has. This Daycare is great, they send home daily reports for each child, the food selections are great, they do daily and weekly activities. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place that has their ducks in a row.
My child had been going to this daycare since he was 2 months old. Unfortunately, my son was assaulted this year and when I confronted the directors I was threatened with a restraining order to not come on the property and police being called on me after I asked to speak to one of the directors and owners. One Of the directors even yelled at me last year on the daycare property while a police officer was sitting outside. That is by no means a professional way to handle a situation when a child has stated that he has been hit by a teacher and one of the directors. Before my child even mentioned being hit by the alleged director, she got on the phone accusing me of saying she hit him. She never denied it either just threatened me with a restraining order. By no means was I aggressive. Entitlement? I'm not sure why they did that. Unfortunately as a result of me reporting the assault on my child and retaliation by the staff I had to remove my child from this daycare and my son was not able to attend preschool graduation. Let me repeat my child has been at that school since he was 2 months old and now is 5 years old from the year 2018 until 2023. Cps has been involved and the department of education. No parent should ever go through their child being hurt at school and it being covered up by accusing him of misbehaving. As a parent you are supposed to protect your child. I was not given an apology for the directors behavior but that's fine. My child is happy at his new daycare.
Awful place. Mostly inattentive twits watch your kids while the owners turn a blind eye to all that happens. "Teachers" constantly call in sick leaving classrooms out of ratio, so it would be nothing for 20 children to be with one teacher. If you don't care that a child may bite yours, or hit yours, with no reprimand whatsoever then I suppose this is the place for you. However, if you're a parent who doesn't just want to stick your kid in a cubby hole for 9 hours then I suggest going elsewhere. I'm surprised this place hasn't been shut down.
Best daycare EVER! Family owned and everyone is so nice. I recommend to anyone and everyone looking for a safe place to leave their child during the day.
I had a great experience here and so did everyone I work with. They have a lot more to offer than other daycares and usually at a better price.
