We have two children at The Chastain School now and have been very happy there. We started in the summer of 2014. We have been very pleased with all of our teachers and the way they create such a nurturing environment while instilling a love of learning. We are amazed by what our preschooler learns and feel that she will absolutely be adequately prepared for kindergarten. We like the continuity of care model for the younger kids so that they have consistency and really develop strong bonds with their caregivers. I enjoy the level of communication we get from the teachers and appreciate the fact that the administration is easily accessible for questions/concerns.
We absolutely love The Chastain School! We have two children who have been attending since 3 months old and they are thriving in the program. The continuity of care program is one of a kind and the teachers and staff provide a nurturing and educational environment. The preschool program is extremely well rounded and prepare children exceptionally well for Kindergarten. We love it here!
The Chastain School is wonderful. I cannot say enough about how great our experience has been. Our children used to be at a daycare that was not very loving, and it was very depressing for us and for our children. But since we switched to The Chastain School, we have seen an amazing difference in their disposition in such a caring, fun, and encouraging environment. Not only do they have fun and are very happy, but they receive a great education. I would definitely recommend The Chastain School.
We have had a great experience at the Chastain School. We have three children enrolled there. Small class sizes. The teachers are loving and nurturing. The administration is responsive and available to parents. Our son is in the Pre-K program which is fantastic academically, plus he loves going to school each day and gets mad when it's a holiday and there's no school.
I have had three children go through the Chastain School and it has been a wonderful experience for our family. I think goals for what you hope to get from a preschool evolve as your children grow. When mine were young it was about keeping them safe, making them feel loved, helping them grow, learning to reach milestones and the Chastain School and its teachers were effective in that. As they grew it was more about making sure they were learning socialization and how to play with others, getting exposure to some things like letters and numbers but ultimately again feeling loved and learning how to express emotions. Then the last year or two after that my expectation was they would be getting ready for "the big school" both socially and academically. And I can say that at the pre-K level, The Chastain School far surpasses other programs. My children have been overly ready for kindergarten all the while feeling loved and accepted for their uniqueness. I could not be more pleased with my experience at this school and with the teachers that we have had.
