We recently enrolled our grandtwins at Cambridge, and we couldn’t be happier! From day one, the staff has been incredibly welcoming, warm, and professional. The twins come home smiling every day—they absolutely love it here! The curriculum is thoughtful, engaging, and perfectly balanced with fun and learning. We can already see the positive impact it’s having on their development. We honestly wish we had put them here three years ago when they first started daycare. Highly recommend to any family looking for a nurturing and enriching environment!
I seriously couldn't say enough about this school - it was a blessing to my family and my kids more than I could ever say. We came from a different daycare that my 3 year old was REALLY struggling at. She never came home with a good report. We decided to move her and our 18 month old to a different daycare, and I took a lot of time to find a daycare that felt ready to take on the unique challenges that my kids had. My kids have flourished. Every morning, the 3 year old is excited to go to school - she has good reports every day. They are always having a good time when I arrive. They are loved, well cared for, and have made amazing strides academically in the short time they have been there (a little over a month). I don't think we could have found a better daycare for them. I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone.
This outstanding preschool is the hidden gem of North Buckhead! It is certainly deserving of its "best preschool" award. My children love this school. They are thriving and have really flourished there. They are both performing way above what is considered developmentally appropriate or "grade level" and they will definitely be very well prepared for the JTAP and the private school admission process. The curriculum is presented in an individualized format so that the children can follow their interests and curiosity in a way which makes sense to them. It is a warm, homey environment where the teachers know all the students, and the director is very involved in each child's social and academic progress. The administration is very open to feedback and new ideas, and it has a very close "community" feel. The attendance schedule is flexible, and the school operates year-round, so it is ideal for working parents who have shorter work hours and don't want to pay for 12 hours of care or for parents who would like their children to attend preschool for more than 3 hours a day. Extracurriculars are offered on-site, so there is no need to drive your children all around town for tennis lessons, ballet, gymnastics, or soccer, which is a huge plus. Cambridge is a "green" school - they do not use toxic cleaners - and the on-site chef prepares organic lunches. Their summer camps are creative and innovative and not your typical camp offerings. I could go on and on about this wonderful school! We will miss it when we move on to elementary school.
I can't say enough wonderful things about Cambridge International Preschool. Our kids were initially part time at Peachtree Pres and The Spanish Academy (on alternating days). We valued the Spanish instruction we were getting at TSA and the "learn by play" philosophy of PP but needed something full time as our schedules got more hectic. We were so lucky to find Cambridge. The school is exactly what we were looking for. There is a heavy emphasis on Spanish instruction (although not full immersion) and the teachers and directors are really passionate about allowing the kids to learn in a fun environment. I have 3 boys - ages 5, 3, and 1. Each has thrived at Cambridge and it is a wonderful and nurturing school. Here is an example - anyone with children know that every child has an off day, but due to some things going on at home (my oldest having his 13th surgical procedure and probably getting some extra attention at home) my middle child began to act out at school. He was not being nice to his friends and the teachers immediately recognized something was going on. Rather than punish him or shame him when he acted out, the teachers put my middle child in a leadership role in the classroom and the behavior problems stopped. My oldest is more than prepared to start Kindergarten next year. He is reading, doing addition and subtraction, and came home the other day telling me about the lobes of the brain! You can tell they have a vision of the school being a "toddler utopia" and do their best to provide a warm and positive environment. If you are considering Cambridge I encourage you to take a tour, and if you ask the directors to put you in touch with the google reviewer with 3 crazy boys I'm happy to tell you more about our experience with the school :)
Excellent school, good quality care for preschool aged children, hot lunch meals served, bilingual spanish
