We are so glad we found Caterpillar International Academy! As parents, we were very nervous about our daughter going to daycare. But since her very first week, we felt welcomed, supported, and confident that our daughter would thrive. The daycare feels bright and engaging, and the teachers go above and beyond in both care and education. The daycare is also very clean and has a welcoming atmosphere. Most importantly, the administration and teachers are always responsive, professional, and kind. We also love the fact the daycare and curriculum has a whole child development approach. The curriculum is fun and engaging, while incorporating international perspectives. Our little one’s cognitive, social, and emotional skills have blossomed since starting over a year ago. It's exciting to see our daughter's growth and confidence! We have since recently just enrolled our 4-month old son, and we are looking forward to his continued growth and development too. If you’re looking for more than just a “daycare”, but a place where your child(ren) will be nurtured and learn, we wholeheartedly recommend Caterpillar International Academy. We couldn’t ask for better!
Caterpillar International Academy is an amazing school. The teachers are very intentional with teaching, and my son loves going to school every day because of the fun and educational activities. Highly recommended!
This review is long overdue. My child has been going to caterpillar since he was 18 months old and today was his last day at the school summer camp (he’s 4 now). He absolutely loves his teachers and everything about CIA. It’s been a pleasure to watch him grow and learn so much at caterpillar. He’s made great friends and he adores his teachers. Ms Bre (the owner) is very professional and kind. I would highly recommend CIA to anyone looking for a great daycare/school for their little one!
Caterpillar International Academy is not just a school for your little ones, is home for them. The love and care of the teachers and staffs are extraordinary. My daughter wake up every day looking forward to be in school, she had so much fun.
I have tried posting this review a couple of times, but the business keeps getting it taken down, which makes me wonder how many other reviews have been taken down. And thus, how accurate the high rating of this school is. My experience at this school was nothing short of a nightmare. Only 5 days at this school, and I could not bear sending my child for another day. My child was miserable and did not want to go. I promised to find him another school on what ended up being his last day. Every day my child was here, I was filled with anxiety. The school would berate us with complaints over the most insignificant issues all throughout the day. The day before I pulled my son out, the school contacted us 3x over one tiny issue (during school hours, at pick up, and then again late in the evening). I begged the owner to recognize how anxiety-riddling this was. In response, the very next day, the owner moved my child to a lower-level class without my consent — punishing an innocent child purely out of spite. I felt so much hostility from this school and its owner. I did not hear one neutral, let alone kind, word about my son. They never reassured us that he was happy, cared for, or fulfilled. Now I know it is because he wasn’t. I am a licensed attorney and mental health counselor. My job is to read people for a living. With that being said, I would not have enrolled my son had I met the owner during the tour — her hostility is palpable. I’m so glad I pulled my child out before he sensed how unwelcome and unloved he was here. Learn from my experience: send your child where they will be loved, nurtured, and appreciated. This school wanted us to kowtow to their every demand and do their jobs for them. This is a factory school that churns out institutionalized zombies. They do not want bright, curious children; they want submissive parents who make their payments on time and make their jobs easier. These years of child development are priceless, and no school has the right to rob children of their beautiful spirits. Breona/the owner, please seek counseling ❤️ **Update: the Georgia's Department of Early Care and Learning is now looking into the school for the aforementioned violations. Check out indeed for employee reviews on the owner/school. Best believe if the teachers are miserable, our children will be too. Stay woke parents ⭐️
