I enrolled my two-year-old daughter here hoping she would have a positive environment to learn and socialize. Unfortunately, my experience raised several concerns about communication, professionalism, and how toddler behavior is handled. I brought up a concern after observing a staff member appear irritated and a little rough while handling my daughter when she was crying. Instead of my concern being addressed directly, the focus of the conversation shifted to labeling my daughter as “aggressive.” At two years old, I expected her behavior to be described in terms of normal toddler development, with clear explanations and documentation, not labels. When I asked for incident reports, dates, and details of the behaviors being described, I was told I would need to speak with the owner, and I had difficulty getting a direct meeting. I was also told that videos had been recorded of my daughter’s behavior, but none were shown to me. I later learned my daughter had allegedly been hitting other children, but this had never been communicated to me previously. If this was happening, I would have expected immediate notification and written reports each time. I also noticed scratches on my daughter’s face without having received an incident report about how they occurred. Overall, I did not feel confident in the communication, documentation, or the way toddler behavior was being addressed. For these reasons, I decided to withdraw my daughter and find a daycare environment that better fits her developmental needs and where I feel more comfortable as a parent.

My son was attacked by another classmate & when I brought it to their attention, I became the problem. Jada’s demeanor completely changed towards me. My son no longer wanted to go as he would cry & have a really hard time letting me leave. I knew something wasn’t right so I made the choice to withdraw him. They charged me the full tuition rate because I didn’t give 2 weeks notice and there was no apology to my son for getting poked in the eye & pinched on the leg!!!!!! Also, I found out that they were supposed to file an incident report & they didn’t. When I withdrew my son, he told me “they were mean to me” & proceeded to tell me the “bad kid” got in trouble often & threw toys at other kids’ faces. The fact I had to withdraw my son when he wasn’t the problem & be charged full price for it with no incident report & him not wanting to attend school at all now is beyond me. Shut this daycare down. I’m done pretending to be nice to keep the peace.

I have had a very positive experience here. Ms. Jada up front has always been super helpful and very kind. Ms. Deja and the other ladies have always taken very good care of my baby Ms. Deja does an excellent job daily with the babies.
