La Petite Academy

My kiddo has been attending La Petite Academy of West Columbia since he was 3 months old (he's almost 2 now!). My husband and I are thoroughly impressed by the care our son receives there. The infant classroom was so nice to start off in as it's clean, quite, and they really focus on developmental activities (tummy time, contrast cards, reading time, and music!). The transition to toddler 1 was seamless, he met the teachers and would spend part of the day in the "bigger kid" room to ease the transition. Toddler 1 room teachers are amazing and really keep parents updated on the daily activities via photos/videos posted on the SproutAbout app. I love watching my kiddo on the live video in each room when I have spare time throughout my work day. Now in toddler 2, he has grown to love all the teachers. He looks forward to "heading to school" every morning. He runs in and immediately starts playing with the other kids. All the teachers know him by name and they really work with parents on developmental goals. My child has speech therapy via BabyNet and the daycare director made the process of having speech therapy completed weekly while my child is at daycare so easy. I love all the crafts that are completed and have kept every one of them! The holiday parties (which parents are invited to) are extra fun for the kiddos. As a picky parent, I'm so glad we decided on La Petite Academy for my child.

We love our La Petite family! I have absolutely enjoyed watching my child blossom over the past several months in this environment. I feel confident leaving him at La Petite because I know that he is being cared for by an excellent, knowledgeable, and loving group of teachers. He has formed close bonds with his caregivers and they love him like he is their own. I know I can count on La Petite. The facility is clean, secure, and inviting. Absolutely conducive to growing and learning! My child is excited to arrive at La Petite each morning and is greeted with big smiles and open arms. As a picky mom—I would choose this childcare facility one hundred times over!

My daughter has attended this location since she was an infant. Each transition has been a good one. She is now in the toddler room in which she is learning and growing with all her classmates she has came in with. The teachers are attentive to her care and do a good job of communicating issues or concerns that arise. There are some stellar teachers that have played a major roll in her growth which keeps us happy with sending her back each day.

We've had an overall good experience with this daycare. The staff is supportive, kind, and attentive to the children. My toddler has been attending for a year and a half and has learned so much during that time, especially socially. Like any place caring for young children, there are the usual day-to-day antics, and of course it's important to be your child's best advocate- but the staff is responsive and supportive. While there was a waitlist before we could start, the overall process was smooth. We're happy with the care and environment they provide and would recommend it.

We La Petite Academy of West Columbia! The entire staff is amazing and the center is awesome! My son attended their 4k program last year and they prepared him so well for Kindergarten. He now attends the daycare center after school and we couldn't be happier. La Petite picks him up from his elementary school everyday. Their after school program is great I love the structure and activities they provide! I honestly have to say I don't feel like my son is at daycare but rather like he is being cared for by family!
