What Parents Say
Kids' Stuff Learning Center receives mixed reviews. Most parents praise caring staff, child happiness, and safe environment. However, two parents reported significant concerns about classroom management, behavioral changes in children, and failure to accommodate dietary needs.
I enrolled my son here but he only lasted a couple of weeks. Unfortunately it wasn’t a good experience. There were a lot of children, and it seemed like there wasn’t much control. When I would drop off my son I often saw kids fighting, and there was a lot of yelling from kids and staff. The TV was frequently on at full volume, even when the kids were playing outside. I noticed a significant change in my son’s behavior he became very aggressive at home, started yelling and hitting, which is completely unlike him. As soon as I realized the impact it was having on him, I withdrew him. The staff is kind however, the daycare environment is not ideal. After changing my son to a different daycare all the behavior issues immediately stopped. My son was enrolled here about 6-7 months ago, and I’m sharing this now to help inform other parents. Some things didn’t sit right with me at the time, and I feel it is important to speak up now in case it helps someone else. I don’t know if things have changed since then, but I strongly encourage parents to stay attentive, ask questions, and trust their gut feelings.
I certainly would do my homework before placing your child in this center. We were extremely skeptical about several things that happened while my grandson was in their care. Despite giving them daily food schedules they didn’t adhere to what we asked. My grandson has a very strict diet due to his nutritional needs. The refusal to give him the foods we sent only increased his already compromised immune system. To continue to ignore our concerns and speaking with my grandson’s specialist we had no choice but to remove him. The constant battle of raw hinny, constant diarrhea and accidents causing bumps bruises and permanent scar on his nose is more than just neglect. When you entrust your child to a facility who you hope has the ability and qualifications to care for you child only to find that those red flags are not paranoia. We spent almost every weekend trying to clear his hinny up for almost a year. Monday would come and that afternoon we were dealing with the same issue all over again. There was more than 11 doctors visits for these items listed above and constant prescriptions for niastatin antibiotics yeast infections… over and over again. We have been 1 week with new daycare and can I say… first time since baby has been daycare ready he has come home today with no raw hinny!!! The owner is a joke, ignores phone calls doesn’t respond to text and today when we called to schedule a time to pick up the 55” TV I had delivered so that the kids would have a TV she stated it was broken. TV was less than 90 days old and functional last week. I am sure that the TV is fine and still functioning as it should and if she needs it that bad I am perfectly happy leaving it there for the children.
We have sent three kids here and are very happy we found it! They have some amazing teachers who really care about the kids. The director has always been easy to work with & good communication whenever any issues come up.
Our daughter loves going here. She is always happy when we drop her off and pick her up. That means a lot to a parent. You can tell the kids are loved and cared for here. We are so lucky we found this daycare.
We absolutely love Kids’ Stuff! It is amazing to be able to feel comfortable dropping off our little one and knowing she is in safe hands! We are so blessed to have found this home!
