Kiddie Academy Of Lewis Center

Our daughter is thriving in the honeybee classroom! She comes home with a new song every day and loves all of her teachers. The staff are all so warm and inviting. I love that she is able to take field trips to the library and the park nearby. The location is convenient and on a quiet street without much traffic so I can feel confident that my daughter is safe when traveling to the library or the park. I love that I can look in on her using the Watch Me Grow website and the daily emails detailing her day with photos are wonderful - I've saved every photo and every email. We are thrilled to have made the choice to have our daughter attend Kiddie Academy!

We have loved taking our son there. When you're leaving your child somewhere during the day you want to feel comfortable and the teachers and staff at Kiddie Academy definitely offer that. They get to know your child and their needs. They offer the calming feeling that your child is in great hands! I've notice such a difference in my son's reactions and what hes learning. I have his teachers to thank for that!!

I have to say this daycare does not hold a candle to 90% of Daycares I researcher. My son started here as his first daycare. Our family moved out of town for awhile and tried another daycare that was closer to our home. What a MISTAKE! The quality of care that The Kiddie Academy offers is fantastic. I enjoy the daily reports and pictures of my child that are sent to my email after each pick up. My child is excited to wake up and go each morning. The staff, teachers, curriculum, atmosphere, and owners are phenomenal.

Every single teacher and employee treat my children like their own. I know when I drop them off each morning they are loved and taken care of. They learn SO much and their teachers truly get to know them individually. I love this center so much that I would prefer to move into the local school district than to find a center near my home next year when my daughter is starting elementary.

So disappointed. We searched high and low for the best place and our hearts were broken this wasn't it. Be aware, they trick you into thinking that it is a structured, educationally focused, we were told they did a daily routine and calendar. WRONG. We are both teachers and admittedly have incredibly high standards and we are appalled at Kiddie Academy. The owner fooled us into thinking it was a well oiled machine when in fact, it is no better than any other chain childcare. One, we specifically requested for diaper changes ever 1.5 hours as opposed to two. She has crazy sensitive skin, so they did it EVERY THREE HOURS. It is quite literally free play the whole time. Zero structure, crafts, or planning. I'm not paying 263 a week for free time play. We were told they went to the library weekly, nature walks and water time. None of those things happened. It was a selling point and we felt scammed. Nap time, the kids are on cots which we knew but the teachers are cleaning, sweeping, and talking the whole time. HOW CAN A TODDLER SLEEP IN THIS CHAOS? All three days we picked up our daughter she was literally caked in boogers, nobody had taken the time to wipe her nose once. When asking the teacher why she hadn't done any sort of calendar, craft, or organized activity she admittedly said "I just haven't felt like it" Our daughter is two and went from loving to be dropped off to hating it, they prepare food where they change diapers. Gross at best. Be forewarned.
