Came with my scout troop, cabins Huntington and Gerlach were amazing, (We stayed here and went to mad river for tubing) one toilet broke but maintenance came and fixed it. (The maintenance dog is so cute) The heating in Huntington was broke but they had little heaters in each room for us. We took a hike around and saw the waterfall and some other things. Had so much fun! Hoping to be back!
Amazing camp. It is one of those camps where there are less hills, but there are some. It’s also wheelchair accessible!! Some places like the amphitheater might be a little hard to get a wheelchair up and down though. there is a nice pool, nice spots to camp, and they have some cabins. You would have to ask but they do have two ranges. One is for BB guns/normal guns and the other is for archery. There are also a couple pokestops for pokemon go here too.
Great place for camping for scouts. Getting a little run down, but still great over all. Kids enjoyed everything.
5 Stars if there was a shower up and running - a little early in the season but the rest of the facilities looked to be top notch!
I am very upset with camp lazarus and how they treat locals. I have lived near this place all my life and it is one of my favorite places in the world no exaggeration. But As a local I love to have a quick overnight camp in the parts of Seymour woods that really don't get used often by BSA they have no trespassing signs everywhere and I love this place I am respectful and leave no trace and have camped out many times here and sometimes just want to put some gear to the test before going down south to the lake hope area I understand people can be disrespectful of this place with graffiti and drug use as I have seen before but for those of us who just genuinely have a special place in our hearts for this place it is really frustrating.
