Delaware Area Career Center North Campus is a vocational/career center (not a traditional daycare) with mixed reviews. Parents praise the instructors, hands-on learning opportunities, and supportive community atmosphere, but express concerns about administrative practices, communication, and safety protocols.
This career center as they would like to call themselves lack care and safety of students. They have great instructors but the worst administrators that I’ve ever seen and dealt with. The answer to any questions that where asked was “we cannot answer that” and when asked for names of someone that could the answer was “ we cannot give that information it’s confidential and or we will have them reach out to you” This administration does not like anyone questioning their decisions or ability of providing a safe environment with the best interest of the students for their academic. Please do your research on this place and look elsewhere until they can get different administrators in place that have the best interest of everyone on campus and not those they may bring attention to the for discrimination
I am a Senior at the Delaware Area CC and it is INCREDIBLE. Coming here was the best choice I have ever made. Wither or not I go on to college for my lab, I will never have to settle for working at a fast-food resteraunt again. I will be able to work in a respectable job and have certifications and licensing to put on college applications which is a huge advantage. I feel like I have a family here. I recently had to transfer out for the beginning of the year and they welcomed me back with open arms. I feel like I have a family here, everyone gave me hugs and told me how happy they were to have me back. You dont get that closeness at a normal high school. The students here are also very welcoming. I came to the Career Center sophmore year without knowing a single person. Here I am Senior year, with friends that I could never replace. I met my best friend here through one of their many amazing student organizations. I would highly reccoment the Career Center. I cant imagine how my life would have been without it and I cant thank this school enough for the experience it has given me.
There is a lack of communication between homes school and there career center. But over all the teachers will help u if needed and the lab teachers are great.
Instructors are great! But to many liberal policy’s. I was singled out too many times!
This place is a great place to go and relax lots of people to help you out lots of events to do what do your two years old or a hundred years old
