Barefoot is an incredibly special place for young children to gain social, emotional, and educational skills. They are professional without being rigid or in personable. Both of our sons attended the school for a couple years each. Our boys are very different in personality and learning styles. The Barefoot team provided custom teaching styles to fit each of their unique needs. One of our boys is hard of hearing. he required help with his hearing devices, had regular speech therapy at the school, and was expressing his needs with sign language. The Barefoot staff was fully supportive and made every accommodation requested. Their team is always VERY responsive and proactive. It was truly sad to see our boys move on to other schools and not have Barefoot apart of our lives.

Barefoot has been nothing short of a blessing for my family. We moved here without my mom, who had helped me raise my babies during their first year, and I was navigating parenthood mostly on my own. From the moment I walked through the doors, I knew this was the right place — so much so that I never toured another daycare. The staff here are pure gold. Tara greets my babies with such warmth that they light up the second they see her. Ms. Courtney has the patience of an angel, and Jen, her daughter, and Ms. Eileen have all shown us nothing but kindness and compassion. Every single person here goes above and beyond to make families feel safe and welcome. Leaving your children anywhere is never easy, but with Barefoot, I could drive away each day with peace in my heart, knowing they were in the best hands. They were flexible, patient, and even welcomed my mom for a tour when they didn’t have to. That’s the kind of personal care you can’t put a price on. The only reason we are leaving is because of my work schedule — I start at 6:30 a.m. and the commute was taking a toll — but if not for that, we would be here for years. I will always tell people how wonderful Barefoot is, and it will forever be the babies’ first school in my heart. If you’re looking for a daycare that treats your children like their own, look no further. Barefoot is a gem, and I’m so thankful we found them.

I cannot praise this school enough. Coming from a previous bad daycare experience, since my son started Barefoot he has never once had a bad day. He looks forward to going everyday. He loves his teachers ( me too) and talks about them, the activities they do and his friends all the time ( things he never did before). Academically he has advanced so much since being here, it amazes me the things he has learned and the independence and confidence he's gained. I love the smaller class sizes, how he plays with not just his class but others on the playground, and their focus on outdoor and hands on play, it was exactly what my son needed out of a daycare and it has changed our lives. I cannot wait for our second child to begin her time there and have the same great experience.

I cannot say enough positive things about this place. From the moment I walked in, I knew this was the perfect place for my children. The staff is incredibly caring and dedicated, and they truly go above and beyond to create a nurturing environment for the kids. The teachers at Barefoot Kids are exceptional. Our kids have developed such a strong bond with their teachers, and I can see the positive impact they have had on their growth and development. One of the things I appreciate most about Barefoot Kids is the variety of engaging activities they offer. From arts and crafts to outdoor play, my kids are always excited to go to school and explore new things. They also provide a safe and clean environment, which gives me peace of mind knowing that my children are well taken care of. The director of Barefoot Kids Ms. Jennifer is outstanding. She is always available to answer any questions or address any concerns we may have. Her dedication to providing the best possible care for the children is evident in every aspect of the school. I highly recommend Barefoot Kids to any parent looking for a nurturing and stimulating environment for their children. It truly is a place where kids can learn, grow, and have fun!

If you’re looking for a safe, fun, caring learning environment, look no further! Barefoot Kids is nothing short of AMAZING. Our family was lucky enough to get referred to the school and even luckier to secure a spot for our son! We are finishing up our third year with Barefoot Kids and can honestly say we will miss being a part of such a wonderful learning community when heading to public school in September. It’s something special to be able to go to work and not worry for one single second about the well being of your children. The teachers and caregivers are so loving and communicative. The platform the school uses to keep you informed on your child and their day is such a blessing! They care so much about the children and their individual needs. Our son has enjoyed the time spent in the classroom along with the playtime outside, the sports programs brought to Barefoot Kids throughout the year, and most importantly the friendships he has made along the way! The memories he has will last a lifetime 🙂 We love every part of Barefoot Kids and would never be able to thank the founders, the current owners/directors, the teachers, and the caring staff enough for the great experience we have had along the way!
