No parent wants to feel like they've failed their children, FDA did just that!!! If you are a single parent with 1 income on child subsidy program DON'T BOTHER!!! When my children started FDA in October 2022, there was no over the market rate. Fast forward to January 2025, FDA started charging more money than the child's subsidy program offered, so that over the market rate came out of the parents pocket.( i expected it was coming, ok fine) They also started advertising for new enrollment for kids, but what they didn't advertise was that they were NOT accepting new enrollment for children that were enrolled in the child subsidy program( i heard this through the grapevine) which felt like a slap in the face and discrimination. Now here comes June 2025 and they increased their rates AGAIN!!! CHARGING 480.00 A MONTH MORE and that's with a courtesy " discount" because we were already enrolled!!!! It's obvious you don't want the families that are struggling!!! Clearly the owner has never been a single parent on 1 income. Maybe just dont be involved in state funding at all! This was the only safe place my children had besides me after losing my mother in September. I exhausted my savings trying to keep my children here, we loved the teachers, but even the teachers couldn't afford to have their children there!! Now that's sad, and greedy, it's clearly not about the children but all about the money!!! Enjoy your new TVs FDA, I hope you get the children you deserve!

My daughter started in the infant room and has progressed to wobbler. The transition was handled well and with care to her needs. Even as an infant, First Discovery has a great learning curriculum with varied, daily activities. The teachers are very good about updating your child’s progress throughout the day, sending photos, and respond quickly when you message through the app. I chose this daycare because even at infant/wobbler stages they place an emphasis on development, learning and growth. Your child will get plenty of enrichment activities while being cared for. The staff are experienced and seem to stay which is a great sign of a daycare. I toured many with high staff turnover so I am very pleased with the director and her staff. They are experienced, warm, accommodating and really seem to personally know and care for the children. My daughter has issues with separation anxiety but she loves her teachers and is happy when I pick her up. Everyone is very caring and quick to offer extra snuggles. I would recommend this academy for any child. It is definitely a step above a “daycare” and provides a great learning environment.

My 2 year old has gone here since he was a newborn and now my second son, a 2 month old goes here. Everyone is wonderful and they treat my children with love and respect. Highly recommend this daycare❤️ Oh also their infant ratio is really good (better than the state requirements unlike a lot of daycares) and the infant teachers are AMAZING. There is not a high turn over rate which is always a great sign.

Our daughter started attending here when she was three months old and I had to go back to work. The flexibility that they allow in the infant room has been amazing! Ensuring that our daughter gets to follow her own schedule, or lack there of, rather than being forced to conform to a daycare schedule in that first year is very important to us. The use of the brightwheel app really gives you peace of mind, especially when bringing your new baby to a new place. The team is very professional, great communication, friendly, and they really care about your children. Could not recommend this daycare enough!

We have been attending this preschool since February of 2018 when it was the "Academy of Early Learning". My daughter was only 4 months old at that time. When we first heard that they were being bought over by "First Discovery", we were nervous. We had a 2 year old and a 1 year old at that point, and didn't know what to expect. Shortly after it was bought, we noticed small, but very important changes being made that have made a tremendous difference in the safety and efficiency of the preschool. First the renovations. New paint, new flooring, new decor, new furniture, new toys and classroom resources helped to transform it into a beautiful, modern, clean atmosphere. Then, the addition of safety cameras and parking lot cameras to ensure a safe environment for learning. The menu was always good, but "First Discovery" added more variety and healthy options and my kids love the food. They have the food palette that I didn't have until college! They are not afraid to try anything and eat a healthy, diversified menu daily. I love that the preschool offers meals to the children. It is a time saving blessing and allows them to expand their horizons in a healthy manner. The constant communication through the bright wheel preschool app is fantastic. Years ago, I could only wonder what my children were doing all day. The app allows me to view their daily schedules. Pictures and videos are a huge bonus! Even though I'm at work, the pictures make me feel as if I'm taking part in my child's day. The daily routine allows me to catch up with my children after work and review topics and subjects that they worked on in school that day. It allows for increased communication and improved continuity of education between the school and home environments. The staff are absolutely wonderful. They are very friendly, outgoing, and professional. The curriculum is fantastic as well as the daily structure. When my 3-year-old is coming home able to write her name, it says something! We are truly grateful to have our children attend this preschool and would highly recommend it to anybody.
