My daughter has been in the program since she was 8months old, they have helped me raise her basically, so I can work and provide. I have myself attended this same program 20 years ago when I was a preschooler. I have watched my daughter grow and flourish, it’s not a daycare in my eyes it’s a school. Where the education matters from babies until their last year of preschool. If I have questions or concerns I have open communication with her teacher. Which is important to have. I love that they get reviewed and licensing is always checking to make sure the program is ran appropriately. Teachers get monthly trainings to assure staff is overqualified, many programs don’t follow strict guidelines and regulations but Wild Plum has been here for 50+ years for a reason. The impact they have had in our community and families is truly amazing to see.
I do not recommend this center. When my son was 3 years old, he came home with marks on his arm and bruising on his back. The staff never reported any incidents or explained how these injuries occurred on the playground. My son also told us that teachers had hit him. I reported my concerns, and an investigation was opened. This took place around September 2023 at the location on 82 21st Avenue, Suite B.
