This is such a special place! Your child will thrive here and we love the mixed ages for preschool. The teachers are wonderful with such low turnover, they garden out back, have the most incredible activities and curriculum, learn in different languages, incorporate Such global learning, are so community centric. We have many fun events there for all the families. We love BellaVita!
I have my masters degree in family and human development from Boulder Journey School and am well educated in the Reggio Emilia approach to learning... I also am the director of a Reggio inspired preschool in Boulder county, and have two kids of my own that are preschool age. I can honestly say that BellaVita is one of the best preschools I have ever seen. The staff are all so incredible and there is next to no turnover- which is hard to find in this field. The owner and all of the staff go above and beyond each year to hold fundraising events, community gatherings, winter and spring recitals, and so much more. The community at this school is unlike any other - filled with down to earth families that are kind, welcoming, and utterly amazing in every way. The school is small with low ratios, lots of outside time, encouraging of individuality, supportive of authenticity and diversity, and values the essence of childhood far more than the societal pressures of "academic excellence". Students learn about many different cultures, countries, traditions, local community involvement, endless art modalities, and, my personal favorite, nutrition, gardening, and food! I cannot say enough good things about this school! If you're interested in enrolling - be sure to keep calling or emailing until you get ahold of someone... everyone at this school is hands on and helping in the classroom constantly, so don't be discouraged if you can't get through to someone right away about enrollment. 100/10 recommend ;)
