What Parents Say
Rainbow Children's Center receives polarized reviews with a stark divide between satisfied and dissatisfied parents. Positive reviewers praise the caring staff, flexible hours, and educational programs, while negative reviewers report concerns about supervision, staff behavior, unexplained injuries, and staff rudeness. Several parents indicate they would not recommend the facility.
The bad reviews posted are unfortunate lies. My children have attended here for a year and a half. They have a fantastic summer program that takes my children to places they would not be able to go because of my work schedule. I have seen the rudest parents during pick up and drop off and regrettably they seem to be the ones writing these awful things. Volunteer or work at a child care center and you will see how hard it can be and how these amazing people put their all into caring for our children.
my daughter has been going here, and they are absolutely wonderful! She has been learning so much, and loves her teachers. I love how early i can take her, it is hard to find a place that works with your every need but they have been great! I was nervous about the reviews I read ( I know I'm the " review girl" ) but they have been awesome. I would highly recommend it here. Thank you rainbow children's center!
In light of hearing other parents complaints about this place, I decided to post my own experience/review. Christmas break 2017 my son went to the Rainbow Children’s Center at 2100 Collyer St, Longmont. Every day I dropped him off he cried, he usually loves being dropped off at his regular school, but I just figured it was because it was new. However, also every day I dropped him off there was a daycare person yelling at the children!! Not just a yell to stop a child from doing something dangerous either. Each time I addressed this they made excuses. I spoke with the director about this and she tried telling me whoever it was had been fired. Interesting, because it still hadn’t stopped. My child also had a gouged scratch behind his ear with his hair matted in the blood from it, the somehow only noticed the other gouge on his face and didn’t have a clue what happened. That’s crazy how something like this could happen and they didn’t know how. I have no reason to post this review other than to help warn other parents! After this experience I would never take my child there again!! I pulled him out after that week and so far I just take time off when his school is closed. I’m honestly unsure how this place is still open!! I can only assume since it’s a cheaper price, parents just deal with what’s going on there. If zero or negative stars were an option, that’s what I’d give them.
I dont recommend anybody taking their child here. My toddler constantly comes home with bruises with no expanation as to why there are on her body. There are a few good employees but most dont care what the children are doing cant even expain a bruise or two or three at one time because they arent even paying attention to the kids in first place. They poorly run there business dont take your kids here currently im seeking a lawsuit on them i dont want to get into detail about it . Best adivice take your kids else where.
After living behind this childcare facility for the past year and a half, I feel that I should express my experiences with what I see taking place in the back yard. I can't even imagine what takes place inside. The children are always unhappy, someone is always crying, someone is always getting hurt and I have witnessed other children beating up on each other. It looks like a miserable arrangement. No one looks happy, even the staff. The staff's answer to this seems to be yelling. If they don't hear you yell the first time, then do it louder. There seems to be a extremely high turn over rate of staff as well. Always someone new in the back yard to yell at the kids. I don't see a lot of supervision going on either, staff on phones, or preoccupied, or just don't seem to care. I see no caring, compassion or friendly behavior towards these children at all. I am a mom of four and have used childcare centers before and would have appreciated it if someone had given me a head's up if there was suspicious behavior. If you parents could see what is going on there, you wouldn't bring your children back. My neighbors and I are in agreement about this center, and my children often make comments about how sorry they feel for the children. I would suggest finding another place.
