We've had two kids at Sunset for almost 2 years and are very happy with it. The teachers are excellent, they really care for and love the kids and help them learn so much. The app they use to communicate and share info, pictures, etc is very helpful. The administration is also well run, super friendly and helpful with good communication. One of the best parts is the actual kitchen with a variety of healthy snacks and lunches each day! Would definitely recommend Sunset Academy to other families in Longmont.
We have had a great experience with this daycare. Ms. Priscilla and Ms. Abi are a wonderful team and have done an excellent job helping my two year old feel comfortable, safe, and happy each day. They are patient, attentive, and clearly care about the children in their classroom. The administrative staff is extremely well organized, professional, and personable, which makes everything from communication to day-to-day logistics feel seamless. The food program also deserves special mention. The menu is detailed, thoughtfully planned, and impressively healthy. My daughter genuinely eats better there than I do. While it is never easy being away from your child during the workday, it brings real peace of mind knowing she is in a safe, caring, and well-run environment. Thank you all so much for the hard work on the daily.
We've had our son at Sunset for almost a year now and have really loved our experience here. We moved from out of state and our son has been at three daycares prior to Sunset and this has been by far our best experience. The teachers and staff care, they are patient and make our son and family feel very welcome. The rates are more affordable than many other options in Longmont and they have a lot of extracurricular and other services available. Our son has grown a lot in the past year and is currently in the Brown Bears classroom/UPK program and we know he will continue to grow a lot the remainder of the year.
My family loves Sunset Academy! The teachers are very warm and friendly. You can tell they really care for every kid and it shows. Each child is always greeted/farewelled by name at the front desk! It’s very easy to communicate with the teachers and administration. The school is always impeccably clean. Highly recommend!
We have been at Sunset since our daughter was 12 weeks old. It has been a wonderful couple of years. She seems very comfortable at the school and seems to be thriving under their care. All of the staff is wonderful to work with. The directors Sammi and Nina are so kind and reply promptly to any questions or concerns that I have. We love the bilingual component of the school. Our little one can count to 5 in Spanish before she can in English! We really appreciate everything the school has done for our family.
