Widewaters Learning Center has been a wonderful experience for our family! After a previous childcare experience in 2024 with high staff turnover and switching to Widewaters, Widewaters has been a breath of fresh air. We love the staff and the events they host for families to connect. The leadership of the director truly shines through the teachers and the quality of care provided each day. The staff is warm, consistent, and nurturing, and the peace of mind we feel as parents is invaluable. Highly recommend Widewaters Learning Center!
My son has been at this daycare since he was 15 months. We had a lot of turnover with only one teacher being there from the time he started until he recently graduated. They did an awesome job with the graduation. He learned a lot throughout all the transition we dealt with. I can honestly say he is able to read and is prepared to start kindergarten after attending this daycare. He has learned Spanish and English while attending here. Choosing a daycare is never easy especially with all the changes with Covid and just leaving your child with any daycare. I’m just happy my son is ready for kindergarten and it is because of the help of this daycare. They offer soccer shots which my son enjoyed, water play in the summer and provide pictures with daily reports.
My son started at Widewaters in Jan when he was 10 mos. old and shortly after, we discovered that he had some health issues. Since being on this journey of discovery the entire staff has been so supportive and has taken extra care to make sure he is safe and well taken care of. My baby doesn't like to show much emotion but he enjoys seeing his teachers and spending time at the school. Im very happy with our time here
I could not be happier with the care that my daughter is receiving at Widewaters Learning Center. We started my daughter at the center when she was 6 months old in the infant room. Ms. Jackie, her infant room teacher, is AMAZING! Not only is my daughter happy, healthy, and well fed when I pick her up, but she is exposed to science experiments, art projects, math and reading in the infant class! I appreciate the cafeteria staff for offering a wide varieties of food as my household is vegetarian. If there is not a vegetarian option, the cafeteria staff communicates with the teacher and the teacher reaches out directly to us through the app. We receive several pictures and videos everyday to see what our daughter is doing each day. When we drop her off or pick her up there is always someone at the front desk to greet us with a smile and a hello. If I have any questions, Ms. Mikia, the director, is quick to answer. This is my second child going through a daycare setting and I cannot say enough good things about our experience with the center.
After our previous daycare shut down with 48 hour notice last summer, I asked my neighborhood Facebook group for recommendations in the area. I received many comments saying Widewaters was amazing. Thankfully, a spot had just opened, allowing us to make a smooth transition to Widewaters. They have been amazing from the start! Almost every teacher knows my sons name and he's not even in their classroom. They communicate well, are professional and I can tell how much my son is loved and nurtured there. Mrs. Julie, Mrs. Jessica and all the teachers are fantastic. The app they use to send daily updates is so helpful and I love seeing all the pictures. We are very thankful we found Widewaters!
