What Parents Say
Falls Academy receives consistently high praise from parents who appreciate the caring, dedicated staff and clean, welcoming environment. Parents highlight strong communication through daily updates and the personal attention teachers give to each child's development. The owners and directors are noted as involved, understanding, and committed to quality care.
We absolutely LOVE falls academy. Miss Janieya (Mickey Mouse class), Mrs. Pam (Pre-K) are two of the amazinggggg teachers at Falls. When we moved to NC, we were searching for a professional childcare center and came across FA. Our children have enjoyed being there and we’ve loved having them there. Would highly recommend.
"At Falls Academy, we welcome all your questions and concerns; please feel free to contact a member of our management team should you need assistance in any way". This is totally misspoken. There is nothing Christian about it. My grand-son was dismissed today because of simple unprofessionalism. The owners are not aware or do not care what is going on at the center. And when you are told what is going on, you are getting two different stories. So you ask yourself, which one is lying? If the director, Ms. Aimee, is a well- trained, professional person, she should be the one directing what goes on, on a daily basis and not the owners. They are all terrible communicators. I have to say at the start of the school year, they were very warming and concerning. They made sure you had what you needed. However, the director Ms. Aimee would not speak unless the owners were there. I was always caught by surprise. We noticed a change after a birthday party we had for him where we invited a magician to come and entertain the children along with gifts for the children, cupcakes and ice cream. and provided pizza for lunch. I also think voucher parents should be aware of the discrimination received. They started complaining about him, refusing to move him with his class and moved him back. Have you ever heard of holding a daycare child back in daycare?????? They had no excuse and refused to meet and explain. One blamed the other with the explanation. At that time, we decided to find a daycare better suited for him. But today we were given a two weeks notice, still without a valid reason, other than they did not know what to do with him. Where are the trained teachers? This was communicated over email and not face to face. Meetings were asked for but there was always an excuse as to why we cannot meet. Terrible communication. Unskilled management totally. The two teachers Ms. Maria and her assistance were excellent with him. Highly recommend them. But my heart goes out to them for being part of this mess. I do not recommend anyone to take their children to Falls Academy for any type of learning, other than playing outside. Not a place for development at all. If this place is to succeed something has drastically got to change.
This is from batool - As I mentioned earlier, the owner, Robin, has no clue about what happens in her daycare and shows no real interest in improving the situation. Instead of addressing the real issues, she responds to criticism with rude and unprofessional comments, further proving that she is not equipped to run a facility that cares for children. If Falls Academy truly valued good teachers, the focus would be on proper communication, respect, and professionalism, rather than dismissals via text without documentation or discussion. Good teachers deserve to be treated with fairness and respect, and the environment should encourage growth, not silence those who stand up for themselves. Actions speak louder than words, and the experiences many have shared about Falls Academy suggest there's room for improvement in how staff are valued and supported. Something to think about.
It have been my Devine pleasure to drop my son off everyday for the pass 2 1/2 years with the staff at Falls Academy. I work everyday with ease knowing that he was being cared for by loving individuals. He is 5yrs old and had to move on to head-start but it was a hard decision to make. The owners are amazing and understanding. The Directors Ms. Pam and Ms. Amy are amazing and great communicators and one of the best in the building is Ms. Jeanine… my son and I miss them dearly. If you want a place that make you feel at ease as a parent and your child loved as a student… send them here ❤️❤️❤️
I have had my son at Falls Academy for a little over a year now and we love it. He loves all of his teachers and it shows that they love him just as much! The staff is very friendly and are quick to inform me of any changes or incidents that may occur. There have been a few changes to the administration, however, you have to remove bad apples to keep the bunch from going bad. Falls academy is a great daycare and I would suggest them to anyone looking for a nice, clean, safe and welcoming place to take their child.
