What Parents Say
Wallingford Child Care Center receives consistently high praise from parents who describe it as a caring, community-oriented facility with devoted staff and low turnover. Parents highlight their children's development and happiness, along with the strong sense of community among families. Multiple reviewers compared it favorably to other chain daycare centers.
What a great place. We have had the unfortunate experience of needing to use several different child care facilities due to moving and closures. Everyone at WCCC (parents, kids, and staff) are wonderful. Our son has absolutely thrived. Staff to child ratio is excellent, teachers are thoughtful, the administration is informative and hands-on. We are so grateful we found WCCC, and our son loves going to school. We would recommend it to anybody who wants a caring, fun, environment for their child.
We've been part of the WCCC family for over four years, and my children have absolutely thrived! Thanks to the wonderful, devoted staff and their engaging play-based curriculum, my older kid is excelling in kindergarten. The vibrant parent community has been so supportive throughout the early years of parenting. The center is open 7:30am-5:30pm, there is a large playground, and meals are made on-site!
I cannot recommend WCCC more highly! My son has been in the infant room since he was 4 months old and is about to transition to the early toddler room. We live up in Greenwood so we briefly transitioned to a close by chain daycare when we got off a list earlier this summer and immediately regretted it and went back to WCCC the very next month. I realized how caring, kind, competent, and extroverted WCCC staff were in comparison. They keep ratios low and have low staff turnover so my son is known, beloved, and well taken care of. Could not be happier to be back at WCCC.
We’ve had our daughter at WCCC since she was 7 months old, and have only positive things to say. The teachers are exceptional, the classrooms clean and filled with development-appropriate toys and activities, and the parent community is wonderful. Highly recommend!
Our son has been attending here since he was six months old. He has unique health needs and - in addition to the staff being wonderful at early childhood development - have found that the school accommodates them perfectly. We are so grateful we chose to be part of the WCCC community!
