Magnolia Whizz Kids Academy

Out of all the schools we toured, Whizz Kids was the one that felt like the most authentic community with a true commitment to diversity (as reflected in their multi-cultural staff, dual-language designation and participation in CCAP). The teachers are incredibly dedicated, and our son, although new to daycare, adjusted quickly, no doubt because of the safe, fun, and nurturing environment they create day in and day out. Since starting at Whizz Kids, his language skills have blossomed, along with his ability to express himself and navigate social-emotional growth. He has formed clear friendships with many of his classmates and developed strong, trusting bonds with his teachers. We also love the school’s location and use of the local playground, and how neighborhood exploration is integrated into the program, with trips to the fire station, the beach, and more. We couldn’t be more appreciative of everything Whizz Kids has to offer. Our son truly loves it here!

Our experience with Whizz Kids' Magnolia location has been excellent. Our child has been going there for ~2years and loves it there. The teachers are the highlight - they are very engaged and care deeply for the children. It's smaller than most other daycares with a relaxed, comfortable environment and are very close to multiple large parks/playgrounds which they utilize daily. Relative to other daycares this spot also seems to have low staff churn which means better and steadier teacher-child relationships. Parents are updated regularly on art/music activities, food and outdoor play with photos - communication is great. Highly recommend!

We were truly fortunate to get an open spot for our son at Whizz Kids. I remember touring other places Magnolia/QueenAnne and nothing felt like the right fit until we toured Whizz Kids. As soon as we met the director, I had a strong gut feeling that this was the best place for our son. The director Kelly reminded me of the most warmhearted, caring teachers that I had growing up, and I instantly knew, upon meeting the other teachers, that her passion and dedication were shared among all the staff at Whizz Kids. My son has grown so much in just the past five months: he’s made strong friendships, adores his teachers, and beams with excitement everyday we walk through the school doors. We couldn’t have asked for a better daycare!

Our child has been attending Whizz Kid since she was 15 months old, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. She has learned so much during her time there—her speech has developed beautifully, and she can now express herself in multiple languages. Most importantly, she is truly cared for, seen, and supported every day. The school follows the Reggio Emilia philosophy, which is evident in the way children are encouraged to explore, express their creativity, and learn through meaningful experiences. They spend plenty of time in nature, discovering the world around them, and the family-style healthy meals show just how much the school prioritizes well-being and community. The educators are knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly loving. It’s clear they are passionate about what they do, and it reflects in every aspect of the environment they create. I highly recommend Whizz Kid to any family looking for a nurturing, inspiring place where children can truly thrive.

We couldn’t be happier with Whizz Kids Magnolia! Our daughter absolutely loves going every morning — she’s always smiling when we drop her off and comes home having learned so many new things. The teachers are genuinely caring, patient, and incredibly positive; you can tell they love what they do. The environment feels warm, safe, and full of joy. They’re also very flexible and understanding, which as parents we really appreciate. Communication is great, and it’s clear that the whole team works together to make each child feel seen and supported. We feel so lucky to have found this place — our daughter is thriving, and we couldn’t recommend Whizz Kids more highly!
