This is a home that is theologically sound and building strong roots in our community. With passing out over a million meals to the Kalamazoo area and further outreach to the nations this is an incredible place.

★☆☆☆☆ I was hoping to find a warm, Bible-focused congregation, but my experience left me discouraged. The preaching leaned heavily on Trinitarian formulations without engaging questions or alternative interpretations, and I felt that honest theological concerns were discouraged rather than discussed. The atmosphere also felt rigid and rule-driven , more focused on external conformity than on discipleship or personal relationship with Christ. "watered down message" I’m writing this as someone who values Scripture and thoughtful discussion. I encourage the leadership to create space for respectful theological dialogue, to soften overly legalistic practices, and to prioritize pastoral care for people wrestling with tough questions. That would make the church far more welcoming to seekers and believers from diverse backgrounds.

As of August 2025, this is home and family to us. This church has everything you could ever want for personal spiritual growth.

we decided to try this church and never left we were baptized in south heaven lake was the best experience for us we never miss Sunday survives and we are on the vcrew team volunteering and by daughter loves the teen service on Sunday night I highly recommend this church everyone is welcomed with open arms god brought me to the right church for me after my experience with god I believe in him after losing faith at a young age if you are reading this and really want to try it follow your heart and try it out but I promise you will love this church

This is my church I go to been going there for 2 and 1/2 years now I love the pastor and his wife very nice people environment is excellent if you're looking for a good church this is where you need to go they're all family they treat you like family
