The Portage Child Care

My daughter has been going here for almost three years now. The director is kind and does an amazing job at making sure to address any issues you may have. Ms. Crystal (lead teacher) is also very patient and caring with not only her students, but all of them. My daughter has been in daycare since 11 months and from my experience, the only one she went to that didn’t change staff often was the private Christian school/daycare and that is because parents had to pay much more expensive tuition for the daycare side and the school side which means staff was paid a teacher salary. However, The Portage Childcare is consistent with the kind of staff they hire, they are always loving towards my daughter and my daughter tells me good things about her teachers. I like how they meet the children outside to get off the school bus to ensure their safety. I also like how they keep the kids separated by age group! All the staff ensure children are kind to each other and respectful. During the summer, they have an awesome summer program that allows the kids to participate in safe activities and have some fun. I really like this daycare and would recommend it.

Absolutely love ❤️Portage Child and so do my children. Not your typical daycare. The teachers are amazing all about the children first. Each teacher has a unique teaching method. My 5yr. daughter started there when she was 3yr. She was delayed in speech and has progressed tremendously. My son is 4yr. with some behavioral issues. The teachers and the staff are very patient us as we all continue still working with him. Thank you Miss. Melissa, Miss Payton and Miss Tammy. Super clean investment. The lunchs are amazingly delicious even if you have picky eaters. I highly recommend The Portage Child Care

The staff is caring, patient, and truly dedicated to the children. My children have grown so much socially and academically since starting here. The classrooms are clean, safe, and full of fun activities that keep the kids excited to learn every day. Communication with parents is excellent, and you can really feel the warm, family-like environment. Highly recommend this preschool/daycare to anyone looking for a loving and trustworthy place for their children.

Been sending my boys here since they were 2 and 3. They are now 4 and 5 and I plan on sending my other 2 when they both are of age. I love all the teachers there and the programs they provide for my kids. The staff is very trustworthy and has help my child who had some delays overcome so so much. So grateful for the staff and their dedication and communication. I consider them family and a village that I desperately needed.

Working with Toddlers is never an easy job however I appreciate the time and patience each and everyone of the staff members have at this facility for my little one. The staff is always happy, welcoming and warm. Thank you all for making my child’s transition to day care joyful!
