What Parents Say
These reviews appear to be for an apartment complex (Eastchester Heights), not a daycare center. The reviews praise staff professionalism and newly renovated units, but note maintenance and cleanliness issues in common areas.
I’ve lived in Eastchester heights since July 2020, up until now I had never had any maintenance issues not being addressed within a reasonable time. This is the WORST management/maintenance crew I’ve ever encountered. I reported having black mold in my apartment and they keep lying to me about how a maintenance person is scheduled to come address it. After lying to me, no one has still come despite making two maintenance requests. I’ll be filing a safety complaint with the city. Another complaint on 02/14/2025 I’m adding another complaint after being unable to reach maintenance since morning. The phone rings and hangs up. I also put in maintenance request that has not been fulfilled yet or had anyone reach out. My apartment got flooded days ago from a broken toilet which I had already reported. The toilet water keeps flush and won’t stop. The flush handle is faulty, a maintenance guy came and adjusted the flush handle temporarily which did not fix the problem. Later that evening, my mum blew up my phone while I was at work that my apartment was flooded, she not being a handy person didn’t know what to do. Luckily, my neighbor from downstairs must’ve had water coming into his unit so he came upstairs and shut off the water valve. I let the flooding slide because after all accidents do happen. Days later, I noticed I floor was bulging but wanted to be sure my eyes weren’t deceiving me. Once I realized what it was, I put in a request. Called management early this morning and all day but had had no one to talk to. I called security and he also said the best he can do is to transfer my call to that same number I have been calling. My 14 month old has been tripping and falling from the floor bulging outward because we sleep in the main bedroom. It is absurd how much we pay for rent and not having anyone address issues promptly. My kitsch counter which is sinking in hasn’t been addressed since I reported it in December 2024. I’ve already filed a complaint with the housing department regarding the floor. My son has a bump on his forehead from tripping and falling. God forbid this floor pop out into my child and I’ll take legal actions against this management. Enjoy your valentine day while you can!! More update on 02/16/25 The floor of my bedroom got worse over the weekend a when there is no management, maintenance or even a super to get hold of. This is the kind of inconvenience we have to deal with because you’re unable to get hold of anyone to address your emergencies over the weekend. Guess what! Tomorrow is a holiday as well so more bad luck for me and my exploding floor because the maintenance office may not open and I have no idea if there’s any superintendent on call to address such issues. I’ll keep updating until this issue is addressed. Update 02/21/2025 New floors were installed yesterday. Waiting for other areas to be completed!
The level of maintenance service in this apartment complex is unacceptable. Requests take far too long to be acknowledged, and when they finally are, the work is either incomplete, careless, or ignored altogether. It is clear that there is a serious lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect for tenants’ time and well-being. As paying residents, we should not have to constantly chase down staff just to get basic living conditions maintained. This is not only frustrating but reflects poorly on the entire management team. If this continues, I will have no choice but to escalate my concerns further and share my experience publicly so others are aware of the ongoing neglect here.

I moved in a month ago & love it it’s quiet people are friendly, I love my apt just right side; Mr. Edward was very helpful & met Ms.Maria very nice people, great neighborhood everything near me love it. Thank You Mr.Edward & Ms. Maria.
The house was pleasant when we first moved in, but things took a turn for the worse after a while. We encountered mice, roaches, and even occasional lack of hot water in the morning, making it difficult to shower before work. To make matters worse, the maintenance schedule is often unreliable. When we schedule appointments, they seem to disappear, leaving us to fend for ourselves. Overall, the experience has been quite unprofessional.
