We’ve been now with tutor time for two years. I cannot say one bad thing about our tutor time experience so far. At tutor time we feel like family at this place. From the time you walk in there to the time you leave you just feel the welcoming vibes. Nicole the director and Jess the assist director are fantastic and run a very well oiled machine at tutor time. It’s so special too they know each and every one of the kiddos and their parents as well. It’s those special touches that make this place so special! Every single teacher that we’ve had so far in our journey with tutor time has been so amazing! I love how each of them comes up with some fun creative play as well as all the videos and pictures you get throughout the day as well. Thank you tutor time so far for a fantastic journey! We love ya guys!
We were so lucky to have found this daycare! We began with our first in 2021, at 3 months old, during the pandemic. Seeing how they navigated that as a center showed me how reliable they would be. The entire staff is amazing - so knowledgeable, caring & easy going. I never have to worry about my kids while they are here. The friendships, life skills, and educational development is amazing to see in our kids, and I know that Tutor Time played a huge role in that. They host events throughout the year, fun for the kiddos and parents too! The provided meals and diapers, and later pickup, are a huge plus for us with our work schedules. I wouldn't want to send my kids anywhere else.
The staff is great and keeps us updated with daily routines and pictures of our beautiful son. I currently live a couple hours away, so it's great to get these photos and have remote access to see him on the cameras. Our insurance helps with the cost and it's extremely close to home. Win win for us! The stuff really appreciates our communication and requests. I can't say enough about Tutor Time.
A long standing TT family of 10 years! There’s no place like TT of Portage. The teachers, assistants and Daniel (cook) are the best. They treat you like family, they love your children and they educate them daily. The most important to me is they interact with your children by playing with them on the floor, eating with them, having mealtime conversations with them, going outside to play a game of soccer, the list is endless. The standard that TT holds starts at the top with the director, Nicole. Hands down best director is Kalamazoo County. Thank you for 10 amazing years of memories, education and support.
We love tutor time! They have played such a huge part in our son’s life. As a first time mom the infant 1 and 2 teachers were a major support system for me. My son is currently in toddlers and is loving it! We love all the outside time they get, even in winter! They also do lots of art projects and get messy! Love it. My son loves his teachers and friends. Ms Amy is a phenomenal teacher. Also special shout out to Ms Erin who is definitely a kid (and parent) favorite. Highly recommend.
