The Oakdale Kid'S Center

Oakdale Kids Center has been a breath of fresh air compared to our experience at a prior day care. We've had our two boys (2 and 4 when they started) attend Oakdale Kids Center for the past 6 months and the amount of growth and development they've shown is incredible. Our primary teachers are Ms. Kathy, Ms. Tanya, Ms. Kaitlyn, and Ms. Stephanie. They all go out of their way on a daily basis to ensure the proper care and development of our children. Our oldest went into Oakdale with tantrums on a daily basis, not knowing how to properly hold a crayon or show interest in art and Ms. Kathy and her staff immediately jumped into action with him. He now shows great interest in so many activities, he looks forward to going to school, and he's a completely changed kiddo-we see him joking around all the time with Ms. Kathy and he just has a blast there! Our youngest loves his friends and Ms. Tanya and Ms. Kaitlyn always work with him to develop his skills. It's refreshing to see a program with actual curriculum instead of just non-stop playing outside. I feel this daycare readily prepares kids for Kindergarten and provides excellent socialization skills. They also use an app to share pictures and keep us up to date on how the kids are doing throughout the day, unlike the previous day care. The director, Ms. Kim, is always just a phone call away and more than happy to answer any question we come up with. She's been incredible throughout the onboarding process and whenever we need to know something. Oakdale Kids Center has my highest recommendation. I'll be sad for our kids to leave here but I know they'll be well prepared for their next adventure!

Have had two kids attend. They are absolutely amazing! Toddler rooms are classroom style, so they get lots of practice with that setting while still filled with lots of play and age appropriate activities. They use an app like most schools use to communicate, send photos, and log your child's activities! I had serious separation anxiety and this app has majorly helped as I see how much fun he's having! Nut free facility, good security, and friendly staff. I really couldn't ask for more. Would recommend this daycare!

Absolutely horrible. Rude staff, conniving owner, downright criminal. My kids didn't even take their coats off on their first day, it was so bad. I immediately took them home after a "teacher" discriminated against my special education kiddo. The owner called and apologized, and asked if I would consider coming back if changes were made in staff (super professional), but her tune changed when I asked for my enrollment/tuition check back. After telling us they'd shred or return our check, they deposited it 10 days later. Nobody ever contacted me, I had to call the owner who was then extremely rude and said they could keep our $100 enrollment fee per the agreement. I told her that she and I both know this was not a typical situation where we simply changed our minds. Five days later, a check was finally cut for us, less $200. They kept a $100 enrollment fee per child. They also left our check and paperwork in the hallway of the building, unattended, as they asked me to leave the initial paperwork with all of our personal information. The way this center is run is disgusting and I am so grateful I had the sense not to leave my kids there.

My kids attended this center a few years ago. Excellent staff with great activities to keep the kids busy and learn at the same time. My only complaint, when the kids had to go to the bathroom, they were required, or so the staff said, to keep eyes on the kids at all times. This ment the bathroom door had to stay open while the kids were using it. Anyone else see a problem with that?
