Paidea Child Development Center

We LOVE Paidea! They have truly become an extension of our family. They have the most caring dedicated teachers, many of which have been there for a very long time. Their focus is always what is best for the kids and they go the extra mile to make everyone feel comfortable. We have our 5 year and 2 year old there now and both have been there since they were 15 months old.

We couldn't be happier with our choice to have our children attend Paidea! Paidea is different from a "typical" center in the best ways possible. The Director, Sarah, has built a true community among the parents, teachers, and students. Many of the teachers have been there for years (even decades!) and you can tell they are treated with respect and are truly invested in our children's development. The communication at Paidea with teachers, parents, and staff is next level. It always feels like everyone is on the same page. Our 3 children have been across virtually every classroom (Toddler, Preschool, and Kindergarten) at Paidea. There is great thought put into each classroom transition to make sure children are ready and prepped. Beyond the everyday fun and education, there is a focus on building emotional intelligence and life skills in the children that is making them better human beings. Sarah also strives to build connections among the parents through Parent Nights, Family Picnics/Events, and the Parent Advisory Council. With this, there's always a way to get involved and always a familiar face in the hallway. We've had no regrets with Paidea and the positive, warm environment they have created! Can't recommend them enough!

Paidea was our third daycare and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Our son started in pre-school and also went to Kindergarten. Our daughter started in the toddler room and is now in preschool. They both LOVE going to Paidea. The curriculum/activities are very well thought out. You can tell the teachers put in a lot of effort to enrich the kids days. They have music, yoga, field trips and more! Our kids get so excited about various special events and would bring up things that happened at daycare even days after. We (both parents and kids) also love their artwork and activities. They are not fancy but very creative. A lot of the materials are from recycling materials from family donations. Our kids always have so much fun. Paidea specializes in children's emotional development and helping kids deal with big feelings, which is an important skill to learn for both of our kids. Paidea also has monthly parent nights to discuss kids development milestones and parenting tools. The director, Sarah, also the owner, really cares about kids and has a great passion for child development. Sarah is truly an incredible resource when it comes to parenting. When we felt like we hit a wall when parenting, we consult with Sarah, and she is always able to provide suggestions and ideas that work for us (both parents and kids). She helped us numerous times on various parenting obstacles we had, from sleeping, big feelings (frustration, fear, disappointment, angry etc). Paidea is definitely more like a community than just a daycare. Paidea's building and playground is not fancy and the toys are not new but after experiencing two other daycares, we think the fancy facilities are for parents, not for kids. What Paidea offers, which is caring, loving and long-tenured teachers, is way more important for the kids. They don't have cameras and they don't send pictures because teachers are focused on interacting with kids, not reporting to parents. You will know your kids enjoy the school when they love going to school everyday and don't want to leave when you pick them up.

We could not be more grateful to have found Paidea. We already cannot say enough good things since they've started (our oldest is in preschool and started in Sept 2024 and our youngest started in Jan 2025 in the toddler room). Our oldest had been at two other daycare centers before starting at Paidea and his attitude and demeanor is night and day. He used to absolutely dread going to daycare and now he's even asking if we can go! Truly a testament to the care and dedication the teachers and staff have for the kids. We've never experienced this level of care and the desire for parents to succeed by continuing to teach the social-emotional skills they're learning while they're there. There are many opportunities to stay connected with other parents as well as the teachers and staff. Communication is always timely and organized, which is so appreciated. We couldn't recommend Paidea more, it's amazing!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Paidea! I can leave from drop off at ease knowing that my child is in good hands. As a parent of two who hasn't always had the best experiences with daycares, this daycare changed my mind. The staff is incredibly caring, attentive, and professional. They go above and beyond to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for the children. Communication with the center is excellent, the staff is always approachable and willing to discuss any concerns or questions we have. We are especially impressed with the center's commitment to fostering a sense of community among the children and their families. Events and activities that involve parents create a wonderful, inclusive atmosphere that makes everyone feel welcome and valued. Overall, Paidea has exceeded our expectations in every way. We are so grateful for the love, care, and attention our child receives and highly recommend this center to any parent looking for exceptional childcare.
