Carol Matheys Center For Children & Families

I cannot say enough good things about Carol Matheys! Every single staff member is amazing and kind and professional! My son attends the Transition Kindergarten program and has thrived. The small class size paired with Ms. Denise's expertise and care is a truly priceless experience. At pick up each day, my son asks to stay at school. It is always a good sign when your child begs to go to school! If you are in the same boat as us where your child is on the bubble for kindergarten enrollment, Carol Matheys' program is second to none. I wish we had known about this program for our older child.

We LOVE Carol Matheys!! My son has been going to the school since he was 3 years old. He's now 6 and in their kindergarten program. The individual attention he gets in a small kindergarten class has helped him grow and learn so quickly! The teachers are so attentive and genuinely care about my family. The teachers and administration are open to feedback and respond quickly if I ever have a question or concern. My son has met so many wonderful friends and I've really enjoyed getting to know the other families. It is a close knit, warm and welcoming environment. I most definitely recommend Carol Matheys

Our four children have all attend Carol Mathey's and I cannot say enough good things about their program. We have been attending over the last 12.5 years and the program gets better every year. We have worked with the same teachers and office staff for the last 12.5 years so it shows how little turnover there is. We have been so grateful for all of the staff every day over the last 12.5 years. All four of our children looked forward to going to daycare/preschool/school age care each day. At drop off, it felt like we were dropping our children off with family. The staff truly dedicates themselves and the program to nurturing and developing the children, you can tell they are well cared for. We are so sad that our fourth child will be heading to kindergarten in the fall and we will no longer be attending Carol Matheys. It is truly a wonderful place and we have felt extremely fortunate to have all four of our children well cared for by each of them. We will truly miss all of the staff and our daily chats.

This center is amazing! My daughter went to preschool and was in their Kindergarten program this year and I am amazed at how much she has learned. They are second to none there and we adore Ms. Denise and the rest of the staff! She has made the greatest friends and loves it there! Highly recommend for anyone looking for great childcare!

My children attended Treasured Tykes, which is the infant and toddler program at Carol Mathey's (located on the north side of HWY 36). Treasured Tykes became a second home for both my children. The staff treated them with care individual to their needs. It is a safe, joyful, welcoming environment for my children. They use BabyConnect, an app that parents can use to find out info regarding their child's day (diapers, what they ate, how long they napped, pictures, etc). This also served as a great way for parents/staff to message each other if needed throughout the day. It was comforting to feel so connected to my kids when I was away. Treasured Tykes provided a predictable day for my toddler and infant sons, which is important. And I could tell that my oldest son was learning so much from the teachers! Not just numbers, letters and songs, but also important social skills and manners. I will mention that parents need to pack a lunch for their toddlers, which is not common with other centers. Not a negative, but definitely different from other daycares and worth mentioning.
