What a beautiful old church! I love the paitence and architecture and love that was put into the older churches. The bells from this church ring every hour, i love that too. Ive heard many say Fresh Food Wednesday is the best food pantry around, I took my God Daughter here this past Wednesday and they are right. So much Goodness comes from this Church, I had to attend the service this morning, i was suprised so few were there, when so few, serve SO MANY. But that is how our world has become isnt it? Thank you to the Pastor and all who attend and serve there on a job well done. Do something extra special for someone today! And God Bless us All!
The walk food bank is nice but, I have to say I'm pretty disappointed. I went the day before Thanksgiving and when I asked about the turkeys they were handing out, I was told they were only for people with cars. I got a small bag of shrimp. So if my car breaks down and I walk up, I can't have a turkey? Personally, I'm homeless right now and yet I have a generator, coffee maker, air fryer, instant water heater, etc. I also have propane heat and even had a turkey fryer so I could cook for other homeless friends. Guess I don't deserve a turkey because I don't have enough money to buy a car.
This church refuses to update its alarm system with Blue Line Security despite very polite requests from my spouse. We continue to get alarm calls at all hours for Stephanie Parker. This morning, 1 a.m. I don't like to put anyone on blast this way, but I'm not sure what else to do to get their attention!!
