The center offers structured learning with hands-on activities, field trips, and community programs like Operation Little Learners. Families appreciate the caring staff, affordability through tuition scholarships, and additional resources such as food pantries and community events.
My daughters have absolutely loved the Operation Little Learner program! It is incredible for military families with young children. We love the free monthly giveaway events to local museums, pumpkin patches, zoo, etc! Also the classes are great to learn preschool skills and provide social opportunities for little ones and parents alike. Highly recommend!
We absolutely love this daycare and, most importantly, so does our son. Watching him grow, learn, and truly develop into a “big kid” has been such a joy, and we know a huge part of that is because of the care and education he receives here. This is not a babysitting-type childcare at all, they truly teach the children. From structured learning to hands-on activities and creative play, every day is purposeful and engaging. The experiences go far beyond the classroom too. They plan the most fun and enriching field trips — so much so that my older kids actually get jealous! It’s clear how much effort, love, and intention goes into everything they do. We are incredibly thankful to have found this daycare. They don’t just care for the children; they care for the families as well. From food pantries to coat giveaways and so much more, they consistently give back and support their community. We feel truly blessed to be part of a place that pours so much into our child and our family.
When searching for our daughter’s first preschool, we luckily came across the Armed Services YMCA (ASYMCA) and saw they offered a preschool program for military kids. We did our due diligence as parents and scoured the website to check out the program, read many reviews and looked at their social media sites to learn as much as we could. From the beginning, we knew this was an amazing school and immediately reached out to enroll our daughter. Due to high demand, we were put on a waitlist. So, we crossed our fingers and hoped for the best. Before we knew it, we got that call asking if we were still interested in the program, toured the school and were blown away by the staff, location and additional programs the school offers. Upon enrollment, we learned we were eligible for a tuition scholarship which allows us to afford this high level of education. The ASYMCA is more than just the education, which we do prioritize. They have so many additional programs to help military families such as the Patriots Pantry, Operation Little Learners, Patriots Ball, etc. Not all programs are just tailored towards families with children, but each is respective to those who have served and/or their families. Our daughter had never been to any form of school or daycare before attending the ASYMCA. She has made strong relationships with her classmates and teachers, and we send her to school each day knowing she is properly taught, watched over and cared for. We jump at the opportunities the school offers and try to give just as much back as we can. We are so grateful for the ASYMCA and could not have imagined a better first school for our daughter. Our only regret is that we did not live in the area earlier so she could have attended last year as well. If you are seeking an exceptional school geared towards military families who understand exactly what it means to serve, the ASYMCA is the greatest that I could recommend. We cannot thank the teachers and staff enough for the experiences we have had with them this past year.
We LOVE this preschool! We have tried a couple different schools and this is by FAR the best!! They have so many resources for military families. My daughter has learned so much and they do a lot of fun activities. They had a petting zoo, different community helpers come and a military band perform a private concert. Truly the best preschool!!
The Armed Services YMCA has been such a blessing for our family! Their OLL (Operation Little Learners) program is really good, it’s the perfect mix of fun and learning for little ones. As a first-time mom, it’s been such a great support system and a wonderful way to get out, meet other parents, and let my child explore in a safe, welcoming environment. The staff are always kind and genuinely care about the families. I’m so thankful for everything they do for our community. They provide free activities for family as well. 💓
