My daughter first attended back in 2016, and we loved the experience so much that when we had our son, it was a no-brainer to bring him here too. Now our youngest son is spending his last year with them and we’re so grateful for everything the school has given our children. Villa Montessori is more than a preschool—it’s a place that builds both a strong educational foundation and essential life skills. All three of my kids learned independence, confidence, and practical skills thanks to the thoughtful curriculum and the incredible teachers who give each child one-on-one attention. Ms. Amy, Ms. Marinely, and Ms. Kimberly have each contributed so much to my children’s growth, whether academically or in fundamental life skills. One of the things I treasure most is how the preschool helps the children create personal gifts for holidays like Mother’s Day and Christmas. I still have the painted flower pot and the little handprint crafts they made—those keepsakes mean the world to me. For any family nervous about leaving their child at preschool, I can’t recommend Villa Montessori enough. They made every transition smooth by creating an environment where kids feel safe, comfortable, and truly cared for. Villa has been such a special part of our family’s journey and I am forever grateful for the time my kids had with them.
I’m really disappointed with Villa Montessori. They charge a premium by using the “Montessori” name, but they do not follow true Montessori methods in their classrooms. Many of the teachers are not even trained or certified in Montessori education. It feels misleading and more like a marketing tactic than an actual Montessori environment. Definitely not worth the money.
It’s been a year and my son is THRIVING at Villa and I could not be happier with the decision we made putting him into the school. He started off so shy and not the best at making friends but his social skills have rapidly grown as well as his comprehension and listening skills. I can’t believe the difference Villa has made so far. The administrator, Kimberly, personally checks into each classroom and is knowledgeable about everything that goes on. She emphasizes the importance of independence and I have only seen my son better for it. The entire staff makes you feel comfortable, safe and that your child is in the best of hands. His teachers are the main reason why we are continuing to use Villa for kindergarten. They really care about your child and prepare them for what’s ahead. As someone who previously thought preschool didn’t really matter, I am glad to be wrong and that we found Villa @ Stone Ridge!
Villa Montessori of South Riding has been a true gift to our family. Our son, Jasper, graduated after completing his kindergarten year here, and our daughter, Jupiter, still attends and we’re looking forward to celebrating her graduation this year. From the start, we were drawn to the Montessori structure, and Villa delivers on it beautifully. The environment encourages independence, curiosity, and respect for others—values that have become part of who our kids are today. It’s been incredible to watch their growth, both academically and emotionally. What truly sets Villa apart is the exceptional leadership and communication. Miss Kimberly, the principal, is warm, transparent, and consistently thoughtful in how she communicates with families. Her presence gave us so much peace of mind, especially during the early transitions. We’ve also been lucky to have our children supported by such wonderful teachers. Miss Marinely, Miss Jaya, and Miss Amanda have played a meaningful role in our children’s development. They’re more than just educators, they’re patient, nurturing, and genuinely invested in each child. Knowing your children are safe, supported, and truly loved is an amazing feeling. If you’re looking for a place where your kids will thrive in every sense of the word, Villa Montessori of South Riding is that place.
We are so grateful to have our son and daughter attending Villa Montessori! The teachers and the front office staff are caring, kind and patient. The environment is great for learning and exploring. Our kids had an amazing time. Also, the school is qualified for military assistance fee program, so a big plus for us being a military family. Ms. Kimberly played a huge role in helping us with that! Overall, we highly recommend this school!
