Chesterbrook Academy Kid'S Campus #806

My family moved to VA from NJ in late 2021. At the time my two daughters were 6 months and 2 ½ years old. My mother worked as an inspector and later supervisor of the state agency in NJ that licensed daycare centers so, she is a bona fide expert on the subject. Before moving down, her and my wife visited about a dozen daycares and decided on Chesterbrook Academy in Centreville. We have been thrilled with the decision ever since. For over four years now my kids have been excited to get to this school and sad to leave when I pick them up to go home. Many great teachers have been at the school our entire tenure and many great ones have come and gone. It must be a testament to the leadership and training of Principal Miss Heather and Assistant Principal Miss Perla that there has been no drop off in the quality, caring and professionalism of the staff over my family’s long relationship with this school. My older daughter has graduated but has come back for summer camps which she enjoyed. I will be quite sad when my younger daughter graduates this summer. Really a tremendous consistently safe, clean, caring and happy place for my kids. Highly recommend.

We’ve been with Chesterbrook for about two years and absolutely love all the staff and teachers, especially Ms. Jeydi and Ms. Alaejha. Every week, they choose a book to read each day and plan fun activities that tie into the story. This even started when our baby was in the infant room, and we’ve loved how they incorporate new activities every day. All the staff always greet us warmly, even after our kids have moved on to other classrooms. It truly feels like a family here. We only wish we had joined Chesterbrook sooner and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a daycare in the area.

Chesterbrook is amazing! My son truly enjoys his days there, and we love how they keep us updated with great pictures throughout the day. Ms. Ana in the infant class has been wonderful, her years of experience with children have been a huge help for us as first-time parents. She’s guided us through important milestones like walking, transitioning to cow’s milk, and so much more. We have complete peace of mind knowing our child is in such good hands. I would 10/10 recommend this daycare!

My child has been attending Chesterbrook for about a month now. Prior we had an in-home nanny, so this is a big change for all. Chesterbrook is such a warm and welcoming environment. The leadership and positive atmosphere cultivates social and educational growth. The staff makes my 2 year old feel safe, comfortable and ready for each day. Ms. Alaejha, Ms. Ceilidh and Ms. Maira have made positive changes with our child and we look forward to her continued education and care.

Great classes and teachers! Hours are good and the students have adequate balance between play and academics. Furthermore, I like how the school does not use much technology in the classroom. In my opinion, main downside is the facility itself. Seems a bit rundown with some areas that probably need updates. Prices are comparable to surrounding areas but they’re all way too expensive.
