I am a private speech language pathologist that services a number of different schools in the area and this is hands down the best. The owners and teachers are so warm, calm, and kind. It is run so well. There is structure and all the children are so happy and are thriving! It is not overstimulating, unlike many of the schools. If we lived closer, I would send my baby there in a heartbeat! Cannot say enough positives about this school.
I teach music at many schools in the DMV area and this one stands out as really special. The teachers do a great job of providing discipline with a gentle touch. The students are challenged while still having a great time. The school is effortlessly diverse and inclusive. It’s a fantastic program to send your children. They will be loved, they will grow in leaps and bounds, and they will be ready for big kid school when the time comes!

My 3 children attended East Gate Montessori from Aug 2020 - Aug 2024. There are just too many words to express the amount of love and gratitude our family has for the staff and the owners of this wonderful school. Our 3 children thrived at EGMS and they were well prepared to join the public school system once they graduated preschool. The school is very clean and well kept and they continue to improve every year. Our favorite was during the summer months the various activities they hosted at the school such has petting zoo, mini summer carnivals, yoga classes, music classes, etc. Pricing is also very reasonable compared to the other montessori schools in the area as well. I would highly recommend this school to anyone that have children (infants to preschool age).
Daughter thrived here for 3 years. Wonderful daycare and quality care. John is a great lead administrator and takes time to understand individual needs and concerns. Highly recommended.
