What Parents Say
Seven Oaks Academy II has highly polarized reviews. Positive reviews praise the loving environment, engaged teachers, and kindergarten preparation. However, negative reviews report serious concerns including alleged child mistreatment, unexplained injuries, financial overcharging, uninsured transport vehicles, and staff coercion regarding developmental diagnoses.
Avoid this daycare at all cost. They traumatized my toddler to the point he now suffers from extreme separation anxiety. I tried to work with them, gave them a two week notice, towards the end of the notice, Vanessa denied care. My kids were immediately unenrolled from their center and now they’re trying to apply over $3,000 to my account. Charging three months to remove my kids despite a notice being provided and care being denied. Instead of assisting your upset child, they will have all the adults in the center stand and record your child upset and send it to you. Staff is not knowledgeable when it comes to caring for a child and because of that, they try to force you to get your child diagnosed with a developmental delay or disability regardless of medical documentation. Part of the decline in my trust in this facility is that Nicole threatened to discontinue care two-three weeks prior to me giving notice because she wanted me to get my child diagnosed. She was not happy when I came back with medical documentation to the contrary. Nicole tormented my son locking him in her office on several occasions. Nicole has personally attacked me for not giving her energy while being down right nasty and refusing to speak with her because of it. New “ownership” doesn’t own the facility yet and attempt to look for ways to over charge you or take advantage of state funding and assistance. Several thousands of dollars that I paid to them were “lost.” And magically discovered when I actually had the receipts. The vehicles that they use to transport your babies don’t have insurance. Accidents with those vehicles happen and no reports of the accident or the vehicle not having insurance are given to the parents. You have to find out concerning safety information through other parents and public forums. Several occasions my child has come home with unexplained markings. The staff don’t like working there and verbalize it constantly and consistently. Several original staff have left several parents have removed their children from their care. Bottom line, avoid this location at all costs. It’s now ran and owned by the church next door. They’re in dire financial straits and cannot find employees because of toxic culture which forces them to have people “work” there that are not good with children
If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS HERE!! My nephew is constantly coming home with bruises and scrapes and when the teachers are asked about it, they say they don’t know what happened to them. They’re not watching your kids, who knows what they’re doing or allowing to happen to have kids come back home with bruises and injuries. Their director loves to insert herself in your business and doesn’t care about the care the kids here receive. Avoid this place at all costs, do not waste your time or money.
I have a 3 yr old son and a 6 yr old daughter that attends Seven Oaks Academy ll. They both enjoy attending and have formed many friendships. They both enjoy their teachers. My son is gearing up on preparing for kindergarten and Seven Oaks is doing a wonderful job with that. It’s a pleasant daycare facility that shares in my morals as a parent and offers a loving and supportive environment for my kids to thrive.
I have my two children that go here. They love coming after school and on holidays. Ms.Lauren does field trips and all sorts of activities to keep the children entertained. I would recommend bringing your child you wont be disappponted. Thank you to all the staff!!!
