I went to key recovery back in 2022 and graduated on my birthday on Feb 20th 2023. Going to rehab at key recovery was the best decision I ever made to this day. I actually got to work at key recovery as well and would recommend this place to anyone who's seeking real recovery this is the place to get it guaranteed.
The worst treatment center i have ever experienced. Literally discharged me without enough time to find a place to go plus gave me wrong directions to get home to Tacoma. They take your Food Stamps to feed the patients. I got lost going home and when i finally did they forgot to give me my medication and the next day called to tell me i forgot it. I couldn't take all my clothes because i have Literally 40 minutes before they threw me out. When i went to get the rest a few days later they were rude and snappy plus i had clothes missing. Bottom line Crooks pure and simple.
I entered the program not knowing what to expect of the program, on April 31, 2010 I started my journey and I haven't looked back since walking out the front door 18 months later. I have been clean and sober 13 years and going strong. I am now retired as of 03/08/2024 This program saved my life!
Clean place, decent food, and Ben the counselor is the man. He really wants to help and is passionate about it. Nursing staff and the cleaners are super nice. Not an easy job but they are great at taking the worst of you and making you feel better. All of them just want you to succeed. If (and I hope no one ever has to go through it) you need detox this is the place. Never once was pressured to go to their long term program just straight forward - you need inpatient where should we go?
I finally got my addiction under control because of this place. Took me a second time through their detox program, but that second time was my last time! People need to realize that this is a state run facility and they’re doing the best they can to give us a chance at the quality of life we deserve. They aren’t without shortcomings but it’s a place to go and get taken care of while you detox and kick the Physical addiction. Thank you to the staff and mainly the counselor that was always supportive and never looked down her nose at me! It’s a hard and rough road, but worth it in the long run!
