Scfy Davenport Early Learning Center

I was working out at the Y next door and I was also there yesterday evening around 5. Looking out the window above the playground I seen one of the ladies literally snatch this little girl up so hard she came up off her feet, then was grabbing her by her wrist, yelling at her. Then today I’m lookin out of the window again & the same lady from the day prior picked up a girl in a cradle position and roughly made her sit down on the ground. The other lady was in this other little girl face yelling at her & roughly putting her shoe back on. So I went and reported it with the worker at the ymca (gym). It’s truly sad that parents trust these people with their younger children and this is how they are treated! Don’t work with kids if you have no patience!!

This is a good day, Daycare I don’t know why people are coming for this Daycare the way that they are ,you have people there that truly cares about the children ….they truly go above and beyond. I love this Daycare. This is the only Daycare I have ever sent any of my kids to my twin sisters went to the one in Rock Island. I take my kids here when I say that Mr. Brent, Miss Aetna, Miss Peggy and my daughter‘s teacher, Miss Carly are the best people hands-down with my child. There’s no perfect place, None .if you could find a perfect place, that’s great I considered that you send your kids there .but when I say that these people go above and beyond to make sure that your kids are safe. This was an isolated incident that they got rid of quickly. It’s unfortunate that any child goes threw any type of trauma. But too go after this building as egregiously as a lot of people are is sad ….. and before you say, I’m just saying this if you check my Google reviews, I will leave one star for anything. I don’t give a dang any daycare I’ve been to that has a review that I have had that I did not like I gave a bad star and told people not to go there and if you have any questions, my entire name is on there and I’m on Facebook. The director is on top of things and will answer any question you might have and the staff that take care of my child are sweet. I’ve snuck in to the classroom to pick up my child after a long day, to them dancing with her.

I love to swim laps and sit in the hot tub when my arthritis flares up. Because I used to go to the West Y it is fun to visit the oldest Y in Davenport, built in 1963.
